If you read the manifesto it is abundantly clear this is a joke. Candice Owens doesnt advocate anything even remotely like this.

Absolutely ridiculous, this is why we need to read and reject the manifesto, not censor it. He makes it very clear that he hates the left.

He hates free markets.

He hates conservatives.

He doesnt like Trump but likes the media narrative of him as a white nationalist figure as useful to his purposes of sowing division and race war.

He hates the left.

He hates the left's monopoly on environmentalism and sees his views on race and ecology as intimately connected.

He hates firearm enthusiasts and sports shooters.

He wants to create division over gun control.

Killing 49 people was never his goal. Our repressive and potentially divisive response to this act of pure evil was his goal.

He makes it abundantly clear that he thinks the damage of the immediate event will pale in comparison to society's response.

All these people saying thoughts and prayers aren't enough and asking what they can do have a very clear answer. Do not fall into line with his plans. Do not take the repressive actions he expects will follow.

Let's just get real here shall we, and spare ourselves the formulaic weeping and wailing crocodile-teared outpourings along the lines of 'Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of those involved blah, blah, blah', not only because the gesture is false and meaningless, but because this is only the beginning: extreme violence begets extreme violence'; to retaliate is merely the natural response of the human condition, in that if one's own family is attacked, one will defend the family members against the attackers with extreme prejudice. In other words Muslims must be on the defensive the same as the rest of us, because they're victims of this jihad too: but then it's partly their own fault, because if they didn't subscribe to Islam there would be no Islam, QED?? Also they're so easily identified by the fact that they refuse to integrate into their host countries' habits and customs, instead of leaving them 'at home'? So we'd all - well, at least those who have that inexplicable urge to 'congregate', whether it be in religious or sporting venues - better get used to praying/supporting-your-favourite-team by television at home, if we want to live to pray and support another day. After all, we didn't start this war?
