You have been told many times now that tolerance towards intolerance results in the destruction of tolerance. All societies have behaviours which they consider unacceptable. However with the rise of the internet which originally people hoped would lead to better democracy, we had instead a campaign for us to allow anything to be said. He put as one of the people he admired Darren Osborne the man who attacked a British Mosque killing one and injuring others and Darren Osborne himself well he was in touch with Tommy Robinson and he was talking to Jayda Fransen of 'Britain First' many times in the weeks before he did it. Although the court was aware that both were in contact with him, they could not find anything with which they could arrest them. As far as Darren Osborne is concerned he had apparently not said anything to make anyone believe he hated Muslims until he saw a Documentary about them which upset him. This was when he got in touch and kept in touch with Tommy Robinson and Jayda Fransen until the day he believed he was a big man doing a brave deed. That would simply not have happened if he did not have the ability to contact people like Tommy and Jayda who encouraged him in his new found hatred of people who were Muslim.

All countries have things they censor. If you walk out of your house here, even in the summer you will get arrested if you have not put clothes on. We know that making things socially unacceptable has a strong deterrent value. The internet has strongly undermined that. Here you are talking about people who want to promote hatred towards people simply because of their religion or the religion they were born into. They are strong in asserting their right to their opinion but their opinion at base is either deportation of all Muslims or worse if that does not work.

We in the UK have also had one Member of Parliament brutally killed and several given death threats which were serious from these people because of their political views. Over a year ago I remember reading someone write of the US, it was no longer a question of if they would become violent towards Muslims. It was a question of when. This comes from people spreading ideas. This comes from what you are calling the suppression of, evil.

I cannot see it being possible now to stop people spreading this online. In that way the killer was wrong, it would not cause censorship. Even if they did somehow stop it they would just move to the dark web. However whether you want to keep Australia a bit more clean is another matter.
