Whoopsie. It looks like the precedent that let Texas ban abortion is now going to be used to ban gun ownership and allow anyone to sue whoever sells guns and ghost gun kits.

Now, don't you see that morality bans are bad for everyone? I'm on the fence about gun control, but I think this move will cause crime and violence to increase in CA rather than put an end to it. But, I don't know. What do you think?

The state of California has to approve every single firearm sold in the state. Let's sue Newsome.

Newsom might find the Constitution to be a fly in his ointment. Especially if somebody takes it to the federal court.

Interesting. California created the model of a "sanctuary state" to ignore federal immigration laws. Texas copied this policy to ignore certain federal gun laws. Now California is copying Texas law. Wow... federal laws are falling apart.

Yes, because he wasn't already working to erode second amendment rights!

My wife and I escaped CA and moved to Texas four years ago for many reasons. From incredibly high taxes to homeless on the streets and more, we just decided to leave. But CA's decidedly anti-gun policies were in the mix. From the ridiculous requirements to make an AR-15 "California legal" to magazine limitations to restrictive carry rules to having to run a background check just to buy ammo and so much more, we just had to leave.
