What do you think of this?

    Some excerpts:

Unless these stories are mostly fabrications, it really does seem that Trump would have conflicts of interest in foreign policy towards multiple nations. Many people, particularly arrogant people, don't think they'll be skewed by conflicts of interest but studies show they are (even in the case of doctors when pharmaceutical companies showered them with gifts). I do not think we can assume Trump would be immune. Should he sever ties with the Trump organization if elected in order to ensure he serves America, and not his company's profits? I may never agree with his policies, but my respect for him would greatly increase if he did that.

It is a very important point. This is fundamentally different to the mud being thrown about the Clinton Foundation. That is a charitable organisation and there is no evidence of either quid pro quo or a personal interest in any of the donations.

With this, Trump may very well have to choose between the interests of the US - potentially even security interests - and his own financial interests. He has made it pretty clear that he has put his own financial interests ahead of everything else in the past. There is no reason to believe he would act differently if he were to become president.

In fact, he has already put his own interests ahead of American interests by shipping jobs overseas.

Trump is unethical already; imagine how bad it will be when he's got the keys to the candy store. And in his case a blind trust wouldn't work as his family runs so much of his business.

And misusing foreign worker visas and bribing public officials.

This Newsweek story should scare every American. It raises real concerns about the fact that Trump will have real conflicts of interest between his wallet and the nation's interests - even security interests.

This is far more important than whether Trump is obese or whether his foundation paid for a $20k painting (although that could be just the tip of the iceberg).

I am really looking forward to how he deals with this question in the debates - it certainly must be put to him. And I hope the moderator doesn't get fobbed of with a pat answer / avoidance. This is important.
