Looks like lil' Danny Snyder's opening up his wallet again and Chargers WR Vincent Jackson appears to be the beneficiary, as the Redskins are reportedly set to make him the richest receiver in the NFL.

One thing's for sure, he'd make a nice target for Robert Griffin III...

That would be a great pick up for the 'Skins! Griffin & V.Jackson-great start!

That would be a nice pick-up - they're not real strong at WR.

Now, they need to shore up that O-Line and get some help at CB...

Reading the OP means the Redskins have a shot at winning more than 5 games this year. I still think them trading away 3 picks for RG3 was idiotic.

That third 1st rounder was a steep price to pay for RG3, but the 'Skins and Mike Shanahan are DESPERATE for a quarterback...

Just like in NASCAR, you can have the hottest car, but if you don't have the driver and pit crew to go with it, you're s.o.l.. Snyder sucks at driving, and Shanahan sucks as a pit crew boss.

One would be hard pressed to find a worse owner than Daniel Snyder. I've got a little more faith in Mike Shanahan...

so who you think Manning will go and play for? apparently he has eliminated the seahawks and the kansas city clowns,I mean chiefs from that list and the jets just singed mark sanchez to a three year contract so the jets are out.that was a surprise to me,I think he was the missing piece to their superbowl dream.

well the ones left now are the Cardinals,Titans, and Broncos apparently.Im thinking the Titans since he would be playing in the hometown of his college again. what do you all think?

I could see Peyton at any one of those three teams, but if he's looking for a team that can win now, the Broncos have to be the favorite. Assuming he can play next year, Denver would be primed for a Super Bowl run with him at QB...

Looks like the Raiders are set at QB - I wonder where Jason Campbell will end up next?

    Is Tebow's contract up?

Free Agency and trades so far:

Bears trade two 3rd round picks to Dolphins for Brandon Marshall. (Looks like Manning will NOT be a Dolphin!)

Vincent Jackson signs with Tampa Bay.

    Pierre Garcon to the Redskins.

I heard something on the radio about the Dolphins trying to sign Matt Flynn. You would think he would be a hot commodity.

The Buccaneers build on the free agent acquisition of WR Vincent Jackson by signing former Saints center Carl Nicks...

Buccaneers, Nicks agree to five-year, $47.5M contract
    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...year-475m-contract?module=HP11_headline_stack

QB Kyle Orton is now a Cowboy:

Cowboys reach terms on three-year deal with Orton

And Calvin "Megatron" Johnson is staying in Detroit (8 years, $130M, $53M guaranteed :omg:):

Johnson signs new eight-year contract with Lions

I'd say Arizona is closer to another Superbowl than Denver. Denver's recievers are bad. I watched a lot of their games from the endzone camera that is streamed online. Tebow might not be a very accurate passer but his receivers are also never ever open.

Arizona needs to strengthen up the line but Manning has always been hard to sack. This year kind of showed just how bad that Indy line really is when they didn't have a QB that could throw on rhythm. Manning is on of the few QBs that I would be comfortable starting and throwing the hell out of the ball with a below average line.

If Arizona gets him they need that Clark type TE. Coby Fleener from Stanford could be that guy and he is expected to go right around where Arizona will be picking.

Marshall in Chicago though??? I lived in Chicago. I played in Chicago, college not pro. A lot of my teammates fell not on the field but off of it to the vices that city offers. Its a bad place for someone with the off the field issues of Marshal. That is like an oxy addict working at a pharmacy.

Marshal should request that Salt Lake City get a franchise because that would the best place for him.

Hats off to Johnson. He could have bent Detroit over a barrel. But he instead signed a deal that frees up a lot cap space for the Lions. Remember this is a team that down the road is going to have to resign Stafford, and Suh. I expect them to drop the franchise tag on Suh when his contract is up. It would be nice if Fairley stepped up and performed but I'm not holding out. That Oregon game raised his prospect more than was deserved. All he did all game was charge the mesh on midline, where he is unblocked, like a bat out of hell. If Oregon had a quick trap in their playbook James would still be running.

Not having quick trap in your playbook when you rely so much on midline was Oregon's mistake not Fairley's great play. If you are a midline team you have to have trap and/or wham to complement it.

It certainly isn't the best place to avoid trouble, I agree. But better than Miami surely!!

PS. Where did you play in Chicago? A small D-3 school? Most of the bigger schools in the city, for whatever reason, don't have football teams.

I see Manning as either a Bronco or a Cardinal.

Both teams are gonna need better protection though, or Manning will be out for good.

Tebow is gone if Manning goes to Denver. I don't think Elway likes Tebow and will trade him ASAP to anybody who wants him. Which I think would be a huge mistake. With Manning as Tebow's mentor, think about what he would learn. They should cut Quinn, not Tebow.

Matt Flynn to Miami? Maybe. Jags? Titans? Dude came off the bench and threw 6 TDs as a backup....lol. That is my boy from LSU!!!! Green Bay is gonna have to trade him, his stock is gonna cost to much.

Denver has a very good line. It just didn't look that way with tebow because DC teed off with the blitzes since they weren't worried about Tebow's deep ball accuracy.

I had an OC ask me on numerous occasion 'Why aint the line blocking'. They are the problem is its 5 on 8 because you wont throw to the flats or intermediate zones.

When I saw him filling in for Russel at LSU all I thought was why aint this guy the starter.

This is one guys opinion on the Top 50 free agents.
Far as I know, Tim Tebow & Adam Weber are the only 2 QB's the Broncos have under contract.
