Which is no team, because unlike fans who like a nice story, every good organization in football realizes Tebow is not good enough to win Super Bowls with!! Some poorly run team will trade for Tebow as a marketing ploy, and it will blow up in their face, and cost their current coach his job.

As far as Manning goes, this decision doesn't seem to make sense. He had the option of joining a 49ers team a QB away from being possible Super Bowl favorites, and instead chose to go to a Bronco team which he will make better, but better than the Patriots, Steelers, and Ravens? I don't think so!!

Peyton Manning is one hit away from being a paraplegic.

Any bets on when he's out for the season?
    Not if...when.

The Broncos don't have the offensive line that the Colts had...

No he isn't, and that may be the case, but there is no team in the NFL that wouldn't be better with Peyton Manning as their QB, than they would be with Tim Tebow as their QB. No matter the make up of their Line, Running Backs, Receivers, coaches, ball boys, cheerleaders, etc!!

Assuming Manning is able to play and play a significant number of games.

I'm just glad my favorite team stayed away from PM and the huge salary cap hit that's going to come with him...

    Belicheck might disagree with you

anyway, the Broncos might well be a good fit for him.

I give high praise to Tebow for getting as far as he did with no off season (hmmm, you forgot that part didn't you?)

I'd like to see Tebow come back to FL in either Miami or Jacksonville with my preference being Jacksonville.

The kid would put butts in the seat and give the team the shot in the arm that it needs. They could be an 8-8 or 9-7 team the first year as long as the deal is done soon.

You think that if New England didn't have Brady, they would prefer to have Tebow and not Manning instead? :spin:

Any NFL QB is a potential hit away from a life changing injury. That's football.

I think Denver payed way more than he's worth though.

Then or now, because that would completely contradict his "Tebow's not going anywhere" statement he made towards the end of last season.

Are you saying that people in football organizations don't sometimes support their players publicly, even if they don't support them 100% privately? Obviously a good coach, team president, GM, owner, etc should say "I support my player 100%." Even if they don't mean it.

He was right in his prediction..Tebow isn't going anywhere...as quarterback for the Broncos. He was a flash in the pan. Elway knew it...never believe the press releases emanating from front offices of NFL teams..

I'd say that they have a far better line. Manning's quick release and ability to throw on rhythm made that colts line look way better than it was.

If I recall, the Broncos led the league in rushing last year. Granted, that's different from pass-blocking, but it still requires a pretty good O-line...

It's tough to keep a team together after winning the Super Bowl. At least this will free up money to sign your better players...
