    I wonder where he picked up COVID from. Or if the test was a false positive. Either way, that would seem to be a(nother) ding to his credibility.

    I mean, seriously. Probably the most isolated and protected senior citizen in the world, Queen Elizabeth, caught covid. Probably the most covid-knowledgeable and vaccinated epidemiologist in the world... The Fouch... caught covid. What hope is there for average working folks who have to navigate every day life to prevent catching and spreading this disease?

    My opinion: I do not buy that anyone in charge ever really thought the spread of this virus could be mitigated in any meaningful way. Everyone has already had it, or will get it, and there's not one damn thing anyone can do about it. And likely nothing that has been done to date has had any substantial mitigating effect at all. Our ruined economy and run-away inflation has all been sparked by the shut-downs, and THEY were all due to leftists and never-trumpers needing to ruin the absolutely booming economy that Trump was presiding over, so that he would lose the election.
