The EU has possibly found a way to keep Farage out. Presumably this will arouse interest in the UK too.

I'm already waiting for the pro-Brexit people to declare him a martyr of evil EU bureaucracy here with depending posts ...
In other words, these people make even more ridiculous and call clear violations of laws and regulations good, just because they are from the EU.

    Probably not.

The point of the Brexit party is to show the next PM that the Tories have no hope of forming a government in 2022 without its support. Dozy Doris would not take any notice because she never takes any notice of anything, which is why she is about to be slung out on her arse. But Boris will and he will have enough rat like cunning to realise that giving a wet fart in a high wind as to the opinions of anything Brussels comes up with is a sure way to lose votes.

I don't think Boris is desperately clever. It does look I will grant you that he believed as you said but he believed it before the Brexit Party was created - do you know who the major donor is? There is god knows how many of them fighting for No Deal Premiership. I'd put the intelligence more on Gove or Rees-Mogg. Mogg does not see the time as right and Gove is going for a deal.

    Talking of Borris

I think the Tories are finished. Cameron decided to have a Referendum to make them quiet. They won and gave a voice to English ethnic Nationalism. They then started talking about wanting a No Deal - the very thing they were consoling those who voted for them would never happen among the other lies. They have kept them stirred up since with lies as those who support them are like Trump's supporters. The more lies the merrier. Nothing matters. So the hard right now has the Tory party. They have been there all the time. Stopped the National Front in the 70-80's but did not get power. Now they seem to hold all the power due to a vote which went wrong - largely through stealing the slogans and tactics of the Scottish Indy - except ours were not lies!! Any idea who the main donor for Brexit is?

We have to wait and see how things develop. I said on another forum here that Trump is not going against the Establishment. It is the exact same with the Tory
Brexiters. They are part of it. The only way they will go against the status quo is on human and civil rights. The left are the only people admitting neo liberalism is dead - sold to a Corporate Plutocracy. This the Tory Brexiters and Farage will keep going. Now the 'Centrists' who have been ruling for the last 40 years have not yet acknowledged that their way of life has gone, that neo liberalism is dead. They, I think, will be the people who decide the end game on this. If they go with the No Deal Brexiters it will be fascism the UK knows. If they go with a soft Brexit it will be social democracy. That is where the end game is. So far I suspect they hate the left more than the hard right. People used to call this divide and rule.
