    Who decides what's racially insensitive or not? Should the founding fathers be blamed for not having the knowledge we have now? Does the Left want to completely overturn Americn history?

    I wonder if a couple of white nationalist groups were to adopt the rainbow flag, if product using that flag would be pulled?

    I'm guessing Colin K isn't a big fan of Uncle Ben's Rice or Aunt Jemima Pancake Syrup (Do they know each other??).

    Recalling the shoes because of Betsy Ross associations isn't enough... I'm sure it's the association with some whack-a-do movements that drove this... BTW, who is going to buy shoes associated with Betsy Ross anyway?? Did she have hops?? Ability to hit the trey from the wing??

    But there go my plans for a Jefferson Davis Pulled Pork sandwich franchise....

    Oregon cannot seem to stay out of the news these days...

    You can't imitate liberal groups. Do you recall how nuts the left went when a police dept put on their wall pictures of a murdered cop with the caption Blue Lives Matter and a black women who worked there literally needed therapy and then sued the department because she thought stealing a phrase from BLM was so insulting and stressful?

    He has probably done Nike a huge favor cluing them in to the likes and dislikes of their largest market target.I know damn well that few if any over 40 white males are willing to pay $80 plus for a pair of sneakers regardless of what's on the heel.

    Are you denying the left doesn't try to control things by calling people racists, homophobes, bigots, haters, misogynists and islamophobes? It's the left's number one way of shutting opposing thoughts down. And when that doesn't work they resort to violence.

    The shoes, of course, can't be racist. The symbols on them can be, which is Kapernick's complaint. Nike had to make a business decision: do they pull the shoes and irritate all the Betsy Ross flag lovers in the country (which, I believe, is not a huge demographic), or do they risk a potential firestorm with minorities?

    This wasn't really a hard decision on Nike's part.
