The one already rejected? That makes zero sense.

I am proud to shut down the government for border security, I will take the mantle. I will be the one to shut it down. -Not Pelosi

Pelosi showed that she doesn’t want to negotiate at all. Shutdown is squarely on the Dems now. Waiting for some representatives to be dragged through the streets. I’d love to see some govt employees climbing over her fence and right through her windows.

Rejected by a single member, it has been previously approved by the senate and is now approved in the house.

What changed besides trumps new demand?

The Gov't shutdown is 100% on Trump, Mitch, and the GOP.

Pelosi isn't going to cave in.

So, unless Trump plans on giving up his demand for Wall Funding (as a pre-condition), Trump should make plans on a gov't shutdown lasting until 2021.

He offered the dems nearly everything they want, and they rejected it BEFORE he gave his address.

So what. He'd actually be keeping his promise.
Since when does he care if someone cries racist?

Which is how the process is supposed to go. He is free to do so then it can go back to congress to override his veto or rewrite it. A process being stoped by a single republican.

It was, and DOA in the Senate.
The Senate passed a bipartisan bill that lame duck Ryan didn't put up for a vote.

Pelosi is being run afoul by Trump. Its been a tough week for democrats we can both agree.

If Pelosi wont make a deal, Trump will build a wall, send home the dreamers, keep the govt shut down, and dems can explain to independents and hispanics, as well as the hillary supporting dems in govt just how good of a job they are doing. Oh yeah-and no food stamps.

    Can you dig it?

Sure, why wait and beat the rush to condemn it... and LOL at 'nearly'...

Obviously the Dems had a pretty good idea of what was coming if they felt comfortable in doing that, wouldn't ya say??

Explain it, you think you are well versed in it. Even though you aren't sure of the name.

Yep, it's a dilemma. How do we get Democrats to come to the table? I dunno. It's up to their constituency to push them one way or the other. If they want the shutdown, screw 'em.

    I never said otherwise.
Why won’t mitch allow the normal process to occur?

trump can veto it and then congress can override his veto like the separation of powers intended

    No he didnt.

"The People" is representative of people on the east coast, west coast, central, rural, urban, suburban, religious, agnostic... and in order to best represent EVERYBODY, or all persons perspectives, we have the electoral college representing "the people".

Yup... who dont have the authority to reopen the government.

The electoral college IS the best representation of the perspectives of all people. Without the electoral college, the rural would live at the mercy of the urban dwellers. In that case it wouldn't be "the people", it would be "the city folk".

mitch will not even allow a vote on a bill that has already passed his chamber. They have come to the table

At this point, that qualifies as a "pants on fire" "in your face" lie.
