Based on his ideals, probably not a choice for the Dems. But if I ever run for president, I'd do so as a Republican. Because party loyalty seems to trump (no pun intended) anything I would say, even if it were a little left in nature, and the Left is, by definition, more open-minded than the Right, and would be more apt to chose me even if I were a Republican if I was moderate enough.

    I am impressed!

I had gotten the impression that you would almost certainly run as a Democrat!

You will find this comment intriguing. I have the funny feeling that you can almost immediately grasp the ups and downs far better than I can even after reading this over and over again several times.

Thread: The U.S. must abandon the Middle East

Is AA saying that America was threatening to leave the world's supply of oil very high....... if Russia had not backed down somewhat? This would have reduced Russia's oil revenue... which would have made her twenty or so plutocrats unhappy...... which would have been seriously bad news for Putin.......?

If I can do my part to raise the number of high level Trump supporters who soon read his posts
then by 2022 there could even be a movement within the G. O. P. to set this man up for
    very high political office.

    Hopefully the Presidency!

Well, contrary to popular belief, most of the US's oil comes from Canada. If we really wanted to, we could ditch the Middle East and Russia. It may make gas a little pricier for a bit but that's the stakes. IMO, we really do need to do this, as we are at the mercy of other nations right now based purely on our dependence for oil.

And yea, I'd run as a Republican hands down, although I guess I could run as a Democrat. But if I did, I feel that having to deal with "*******" is worse than being called a fascist, lol. And also, Dems are more fickle I feel and would vote Republican if their candidate was bad.

I wouldn't want the Party to lose their current base of insane loons, so I think they should run Charles Manson or Chaz Bono.

    Wait... Manson died.

How about Ozzie Osbourne? Perfect for their base.

I think we should keep as much of our domestic reserves in the ground as long as possible and burn up everybody else's first. The ME fields are in decline, and Russia's isn['t going to last long at the rates it exports its petroleum. Let both exhaust theirs instead of reckless wasting our own. We're already burning off so much natural gas, enough to power several major cities a year, as waste now from over-production. It's crazy to encourage even more of a glut.

Well, what I'm suggesting is 1) geopolitical unification with Canada 2) replacing the ME as the top exporter of oil. This way, we can fund more sustainable forms of energy, make bank in the process, and not have to deal with issues in the ME and with Russia.

Seriously - can anyone imagine a funnier race to watch than Trump v Biden? The two have no off button. Put them together on a debate stage and that'd be hilarious!

I voted other, I would like to see the Corruptocrats elect Keith Ellison, he would have the power to drag the corruptocrats further left and maybe finally into the abyss and the dust bin of history. Come on Corruptocrats get behind Keith.
