    ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD..................

    ........THE WINS JUST KEEP COMING~!@~!#

President Donald J. Trump just took another giant step towards securing his legacy as the greatest peacemaker in the history of the fkin planet.

His strategy set the board, his will moved the pieces, his determination produced the win, and his conviction will ensure the deal is strictly adhered to.

    Who doubted him? ...leftists.
Who stood in the way? ...leftists.
    Who hoped for failure? ...leftists.
Who's raging butthurt is showing right now? ...leftists.
Who shouldn't even bother running a candidate in 2020? ...leftists.

If those worthless cucks in Stockholm are not right now this very moment etching Trump's name into the Nobel Peace Prize then they might as well just shut the foundation down.

For some reason the words 'work toward' are missing from the title of your thread. They are also not in quotes in the Fox article, though they are part of the text of the agreement. They are a pretty important qualifier. There is basically an agreement to talk again. Not noting, but a bit soon to declare victory, though facts don't seem to be your strong suit.

I hope Trump succeeds, but i'm not expecting it. My bet is that Nth Korea will want things that the US & Sth Korea (and possibly China) are not prepared to offer, and with good reason. I don't for a moment believe KJU plans to give away his nukes for anything, but here's hoping.

If this all falls over it will likely not be Trump's fault, though plenty of people will blame him. Of course, he & his cultists will probably try to blame Democrats, which would be just as erroneous.

So what has been achieved so far. The NK leader who no one knew two years ago is on the same platform as the leader of the most powerful country. Trump agrees to stop the military exercises on the NK coast. Trump states that those exercises are provocative (hey you Trumpees who continually denied that). And what has Kim agreed to give up - absolutely nothing!

If this is winning, I would hate to see losing

I think it's a positive step forward though, because it is in writing and it's one of the things we doubted would actually be in writing. That Trump got this concession is huge, that he got it in the form of a formal agreement is huge. Because now the US Diplomats can hold this up and say "You said you'd do this", if the North Koreans decide not to abide by what has been agreed to.

But I will say I've never had more animosity towards the US Media, then I have during this summit. The US Media prayed for Trump's failure, they suggested that merely talking would be a good thing, and the 'best' the President could achieve. Quite frankly, even if there were an attack on the US mainland, I do not think the media would unite behind the president and de-facto the country in a time of crisis.

Weep for America, but there are greater factors than Trump. Americans will self-sabotage the US.

Uh huh, except ...in the first sentence:

"President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un signed a document on Tuesday stating that Pyongyang would to work toward "complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula"— a historic concession, which was one of the requirements the U.S. sought at the summit in Singapore."

/cough what were you saying about strong suits?

And every step towards de-nuclearization is a victory.

Getting Kim to agree to talk = victory.
Getting Kim to agree to set a date for talks = victory.
Getting Kim to show up to talks = victory.
Getting Kim to agree to the goal = victory.
Getting Kim to agree to keep talking = victory.

Trump took a nation that issued weekly threats of mass destruction to issue a submission to peace instead.

Yea, its a fkin victory fella...

    ...and more will come.

Are you one of those people who somehow thinks Kim wasn't "validated" as a world player despite the fact that everything he does has an impact on the developed nations of the world?

And did you ever wonder why the US conducts joint exercises with South Korea?

Its about showing the flag, the purpose of which was to demonstrate our resolve to NK and create a bargaining chip in the process which they cashed in at no loss to us and no gain for them.

Does that make sense? ...it should.

I'm simply amazed by this administration. By leaps and bounds they've positively surpassed my every expectation. Can you guys imagine if we had an actual, working Congress? If this Congress were remotely apolitical, Trump could achieve so much more. These Americans should be ashamed of themselves every morning they read of a Trump success and realize: If I only helped the POTUS, we could do even more.

There's nothing more worthless than knowing you could do more to help and you didn't.

How much did Obama pay for Iran to release some hostages ? It was over a $ billion dollars.

How much did Obama pay the Taliban for an American soldier who deserted his post in combat ?

How much did crooked Hillary and the DNC pay the Russians for a fake dossier ? $10 million they say.

Not one bit of that addresses anything I wrote. Oh, and as for the military exercises, Trump stated that they are provocative

Three cheers for Trump and if this works out he deserves three more. Now if only he can be prevailed upon to stop attacking our friends for no real reason I can see

I'm just flat out stunned, and saddened by the country's collective behavior. The left pointed out Obama obstruction was bad, and you know what? It was. But this takes it to a unprecedented level. They literally want Trump to fail, and literally want to make him fail. But Trump's failure, is our failure. A weakened or compromised WH is a weakened and compromised America.

You don't have to like your boss in a job, but you do have to work for him and for the betterment of the company. If Americans viewed it that way, the personal prejudice against Trump can make way to some actual domestic success.

maybe Trump is the first president in a long while that actually wants Korean peace. maybe north Korea has been wanting less sanctions for a while and has been willing to negotiate, but they were being used as a geo-political pawn. I'm not buying the bit about Trump being a foreign policy God. so, this seems to be the most likely explanation.
