Not Sure Why This Thought Occurred to Me Today

I was never a fan of the man, but I was thinking about this today... remember when the biggest scandal of Dan Quayle's career was misspelling the word "potato"?​

By the way, does anyone have any video/audio tape of the 1992 Republican convention? I remember being really stoked by that convention because the conservative wing essentially took over the stage, even if the candidate was the milquetoast moderate George H.W. Bush. The second best speech of the convention was given by Condoleezza Rice, someone I'd never heard of before, and the VERY best speech of the convention was given by... (drum roll)... Marilyn Quayle, Dan's wife. I've looked and looked for copies of both speeches but I haven't been able to find them.

 

Dan Quayle had a flash card with the wrong answer (potatoe), which was provided by the school he visited. Quayle was a victim of the failed school system.

I'm using an older Firefox on a Linux Ubuntu machine. I'll have to try it on the phone, see if that works.
