Fake IDs are one way. Swiping a bottle from mom and dad is another. I used to get one of my older acquaintances to procure booze when I was underage, until I got a really good fake ID.

Colorado is a purple state, but I live in one of it's red spots. Lots of gun owners, some mega-churches, plenty of liquor stores, and even more medical cannabis dispensaries. I'm grateful for the last, but wary of the first three.

 

Just wear a mask or stay home. However, maybe the solution is to make the non-wearing of mask an assault&battery equivalent type charge.

Sorry, but individual freedom does not apply where harm to others is possible. You do not have the right to risk the health of others, and if you believe that wearing masks doesn't matter where COVID-19 is concerned, then please explain the current infection and hospitalization numbers. They are, in fact, a direct result of states reopening for business on Memorial Day weekend and people like you who think they have the right to go out maskless, not to mention young people who, as always, think they are immortal.

You can whine about government overreach if that makes you happy, but if you go out in public without wearing a mask and keeping your distance, then you are part of the reason that we have been unable to bring this pandemic to its knees like so many other civilized countries have managed to do. Man up, grow a pair, stop whining, and wear a freaking mask.

its fine for me, if some customers want me to wear one, I'll wear it, but honestly most of the actually concerned customers aren't shuffling their sorry azz over to my office to make a payment or chit chat either, they are staying home and calling me to figure out how to take care of stuff without leaving home. So basically we're all approaching it with varied levels of caution, and that tends to ebb and flow based on the news locally.

The funny ones are the 80 yr olds that say "my kids won't let me leave the condo but they didn't specifically say people couldn't come by, so come on over" which is hilarious, frankly they are 80+, they stopped giving a fk a long time ago.

 

I do a lot of will prep, so I have to see the people personally we all have to be in the same room at the same time etc.

Are the hospitals at capacity? Remember, that was the and is the only rationale for Lock Down.

Arguably, we've overdone it leaving hospitals vacant for months.

Spread is inevitable, it's magnitude is what we sought to regulate. We've forgotten the realistic goal. Modulate hospital utilization at near capacity, no more no less.

States that are celebrating zero cases are just denying the inevitable.
