There is really no technology that was created because of 'modern physics' which by itself is one big joke! most of 'modern physics' is backwards and retarded,

And yes, I have, alas, studied 'physics' (and mathematics) at university level.

It must have felt awful once you realized that you wasted your time and resources studying one big joke. At what point did you figure out that modern physics is useless?

Might as well stop teaching quantum physics then, and get rid of the field. Just teach classical physics. Nothing new will ever come from quantum physics and mechanics. As one physicist once said, we know everything in this field worth knowing, and nothing new will ever be discovered or needed. So let us just kill this field, being it is backward and retarded. If we can't come up with new tech with classical physics, then we just do not need it. Anyways, quantum mechanics is as Richard Feinlein said, cannot be understood, so just work the equations. This either makes QM retarded, or it makes the speaker retarded. Perhaps it isn't QM that is retarded? Is that in the realm of possibility?

    Is the earth flat?

We're in the formative years of quantum computing. A big step.

When I was going to grade school I couldn't make heads or tails of this quantum computer nonsense. I thought it was just a legend that wouldn't ever become a reality. I mean we already had digital computers, why bother with uncertainty???

But now D-Wave has the first commercial quantum computer. And new components of a quantum computer are being invented all the time. In addition, people have worked on quantum algorithms and it seems they can do magical things with it.

more then 10 years after my studies. I didn't felt awfull at all. It confirmed what I already thought.
    but wasn't really sure of.

Furthermore, I am not trolling I mean every word I write and wrote.

There really is no technology that works because of 'modern physics' and that includes the hoax called quantumphysics or quantum mechanics,

e.g. the transistor was not invented because of the quantum-nonsense, it was way way before that invented. And the Bell lab;s just stole the whole damn thing,

So it is with all other inventions.

Even E=mc^2 was here loooooooooooooooooooooong before the moron called Einstein came in, who even couldn;t do his one math!

This is a clue that modern physics is on the wrong track and totally useless.

What about MRI for use in medical imaging or GPS for navigation?

I guess you mean by 'modern physics' quantum mechanics.

I myself cannot find any latest technology products which depend on quantum mechanics to invent.

But I am not any scientist much less physicist at all, just an ordinary layman who is wondering what the big hoopla is all about with quantum mechanics.

The big hoopla is due to the socalled paradoxes of quantum mechanics, like a cat is both dead and alive, but you will not know until you open the lid of the box where it is enclosed.

Tell you what, dear Ackem, you can do a great service to guys like me, by debunking the paradoxes as nonsense mental experiments, all in the fervid minds of the founders of quantum mechanics.

Though I am no scientist, much less physicist.

Even more specifically, I guess the reference is to Theoretical Physics which like Mathematics is usually always decades ahead of the experimenters and Engineers. Shrug.

" Everyone knows that theoretical physicists exist but nobody ever observed them in a laboratory".

    Got it?

    It is other way around.

As one of the greatest theoretical physicists of all times Lord Kelvin said:

" The steam machine gave more to science than science gave to the steam machine"

That's why the Thermodynamics is the Queen of physics.

    Got it?

In a big way to be a physicist is to be able to ask questions.

You sound as a naturally born physicist.

Is it too late for you?

Is it difficult to check wiki at least ?

"Magnetic resonance imaging was invented by Paul C. Lauterbur in September 1971; he published the theory behind it in March 1973"

    Eggs or chicken?

Now crawl back into your hole as you usually do.

I prefer chicken. Eggs aren't bad per se. It's just that I'm not a breakfast person.

Yeah, it has only given us solar cells, atomic clocks, lasers, and the computer chip (as well as the aforementioned MRI). What a joke.

Or maybe someone is just peeping out from under his bridge?

It's real easy to check wiki. The general theory of nuclear magnetic resonance preceded the invention by 20 years.

Don't forget GPS. The atomic clocks have to be corrected for time dilation. It was the example I thought of that relies on both quantum mechanics and special/general relativity.

If its quantum mechanics there are thousands of every day applications already.

May I ask you to point to a moment where I crawled away from answering a question?

Do you want me to point to you crawling away from my questions?

And 3 more questions for you either to answer or to crawl back into your hole :

    1. Are you arguing that your wiki quote disproves my wiki quote?

    2. Do you think it is not just funny?

    3. Can you look through your own wiki article and see the words “experiment” and “apparatus” or I need to bold them red for you to see?

This is what I have been saying all day long: you have to build a machine (apparatus) to DEMONSTRATE the claimed effect of CO2, otherwise it is fake or “modern” science.

I don’t know why you and the progressives did jump on the quantum physics.

Quantum physics was founded by very old fashioned guys, by believers in God.

Quantum physics also was founded on very old fashioned principals: experiment and apparatus/machine.

Nobody knows what the trolling OP meant as modern science.

Gauging the reaction of the progressives jumping to protect their ideology while, as usual, having no clue about any reality around then, not even speaking about physical reality, I may guess that the OP was meaning string theory, M theory, black holes, Higgs boson, vacuum fluctuation, radioactive dating, age of the earth, and everything else Carl Sagan told to the faithful on TV.

And that does not include CO2 trapping heat and CFCs depleting the ozone layer because none of theories listed above is as explicitly anti scientific, immoral and fascist as theories of CO2 trapping heat and CFCs depleting the ozone.

    Any more questions?
