Voter fraud by the left/dems may occur, Blaster3, but far less and not as organized as the right/GoP.

Pointing that out is what centrist does.

Sounds like you are still blaming Russia for losing the Cold War.

fair enough, however there is no actual provable way to make the statement "but far less"... the entire globe knows daddy kennedy 'bought' jfk's presidency in a tight race with nixon, brother robert assisted by refusing to investigate the fraud, keeping it a family affair...

i didn't bring that up for a debate, but merely to point out that the left actually did 'buy' a presidency, yet they conveniently omit knowledge of it while spouting on about repubs gerrymandering , another fact that dems also participate in, as well as 'legalized' ballot harvesting in key states... a true centrist would be infuriated with the left's abuse of power, & as a center leaning conservative it pisses me off...

It is logical it is far less because there is no evidence the last thirty years.

And, yes, Nixon could have challenged the vote in Texas and Illinois. He was stupid not to. And, yes, that was 58 years ago.

You can't win the current argument on this one, Blaster3.

not trying to, jakestarkey, i'm just pointing out that we, all, should argue the acts themselves rather than focusing in on one perticular group/person, when we all know full well that all parties commit those acts.

The far right Trumpers are far worse than the hard left in my opinion.

i get that, for the moment, people need to focus in on the current clown in the cage, while disparaging others through 'guilt by association', the issue with that is grouping everyone, on either side of center, as all one entity which is clearly not the case.

the way i see it, people take things personal because they happen to belong to 'that' party, so it becomes difficult to debate honestly because they take it personally when accusations are made of their 'leaders' or towards their 'party'... sort of like sports, when you say something negative about their team... i refer to them all as 'blind faith followers', perhaps i've jumped the gun by referring to you in that regard, time will tell... good chattin with ya...

Your post is confusing. You seem to think people are afraid of Russia (Hence your made-up name you made in bold) but you seem to be the only one actually afraid of them. As if they influence an election. Do you believe they did this or are you just merely a "Russophile"?

The alt right in American and Europe are neo-fascists. Many of the Tea Party held such principles and still do.

I have voted in over two dozen elections in a country whose elections are regularly rated among the freest and fairest in the world. I have not once had to show ID. Never. Last month my state had an election where some seats were decided by a literal handful of votes (in one it was just 15 out of 50,000+). There have been no allegations of wrongdoing.

America needs to remove control of elections from people who stand for election and give them to people whose job it is to run free & fair elections. It isn't that difficult.

While I support showing photo ID (mostly for he speed factor) I am not sure how another nation's voting laws has anything to do with ours?

Strange response. Proof of citizenship is a requirement in most countries. Do you have something to hide?

I tend to view a totalitarian country that has kept thousands of thermonuclear bombs aimed at our cities for over 60 years as am existential threat. The ID requirement is not to prevent fraud, but to verify voting participation with the chekists and punish those who choose not to vote. What sane person would want to emulate them in any way?

Notice all the hater democRats jump in to try to change the subject.

That proves one important item: you have made an arguement they cannot refute. They do want non-citizens to vote.

We do the same thing to Russia. Russia does not have tanks patrolling our border. We have tanks on their border.

Keep drinking Putin's Kool-Aid. Might wanna keep an eye out for one of his 'special' sweeteners, though. I hear polonium and Novichok are worse than even Red#40...

I am no fan of Putin but when lies are told, I must head them off. Sorry you don't like that.

May you live as the people in the dictatorship you're praising live. Some lessons must be taught by example, it seems.

If you defend it or hold it up as an example, you're endorsing it. Own that chit...

I am one of the few posting that saw actual Soviet communism. What Russia has today does not remotely resemble that. I am not praising Russia. But when posters lie about Russia, somebody has to explain the facts. That is me. Jeanette also explains the facts. Fact is some Russians post and are willing to give decent replies. Ask them. They live in Russia.

If you want to call them liars, expect them to call Americans liars.

Starting with Russia is a dictatorship.
Followed by that I praise Putin.

    1) Because critical journalists and political opponents are routinely shot, bludgeoned, imprisoned and fed nerve toxins and exotic radioactive elements in free and open societies.

    2) Anyone who denies that is a dictatorship is defending - therefore endorsing - the SOB responsible for it.
