Why is this posted on the PF Military Forum ??? But i can make it military I suppose. But I digress. There are just as many females out there who are rifle, shotgun and pistol marksmen, sharpshooters and experts as males. The world was indoctrinated that the worlds most dangerous weapon is a U.S. Marine and his rifle. There may be some truth to that. But the most dangerous weapon might actually be a female conservative Republican As being a NRA member for over fifty years every month I get the NRA magazine the "Rifleman" in my mail box every month, I noticed in the recent issue. The NRA 2015 National Matches. In the photos I see almost as many hot looking females as males on the firing line. On the small bore rifle 3 position championship, the top two out if three were females. On the high power rifle long range rifle competition, Nancy Tompkins walked away with the trophy What I have seen over the past few weeks at every sporting goods store, gun shop, etc. that 1/2 or more of those purchasing guns are female. The military part: As the U.S. Marine Corps study has revealed, female Marines who were trained as infantry riflemen under the stress of combat conditions can't hit what they are aiming at. The Obama administration called the Marine Corps study as sexist, raciest, homophobic, xenophobic and will force unqualifed women to serve in combat units in the name of political correctness and PC diversity. Hey what the (*)(*)(*)(*), isn't what the purpose of the U.S. military is all about, liberal PC social experimentation ? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Taya-haven't heard her name in a bit. I was reading Chris Kyle's book the winter he was killed. Can't believe it was nearly 3 years ago. I bet Chris is up there smiling, and I bet he at least taught Taya a thing or two about how to shoot. Women make great shots.
No, she really did not beat the NRA champion, this was a marketing ploy. Bruce Piatt used a standard military rifle, Kyle used a product from TrackingPoint. Its a computerized targeting and tracking system that measures distance, winds, movement of the target, it puts a red dot on the screen, you put the x on the dot and shoot. From a prone or table rest anyone can hit targets, no skill required.
