Finally a deal was struck on Tehran's nuclear program. Lavrov said that nobody lost and everybody won, and hopefully it will help the efforts to end the war in Syria by engaging Iran in constructive work at the Geneva 2 conference. Let's hope that Israel's fears can be alleviated in some way, and it all works out for the better.:fingerscrossed:

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

“This deal means that we agree with the need to recognize Iran's right for peaceful nuclear energy, including the right for enrichment, with an understanding that those questions about the [Iranian nuclear program] that still remain, and the program itself, will be placed under a strictest IAEA control,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told journalists.

"The IAEA's ability to monitor Iran's nuclear program has significantly expanded," Lavrov said, adding that he has full confidence that Iran will cooperate in good faith with the IAEA.

“IAEA significantly expanded the opportunities to monitor Iran's nuclear program. Iran agreed on a number of additional measures beyond those which the agency applies at the moment,” Russian FM said

Let's just hope they actually abide by this agreement as they have a record of breaking resolutions and conditions associated with this issue.

I'm sure Israel will be first to congratulate all parties in this realistic step towards equitable, peaceful relations and cooling off of hyper rhetoric.

    /end sarcasm.

    Israel people want peace. ..

    Their leaders are war mongerers.

Israel has nuclear arms. .. What do you think they would say if the UN tried to take them away?

Maybe Israel should start living within their means . . .. And the territory that was given to them ORIGINALY instead of trying to do the same thing to Palestinian than what the nazis did to them.. I

After 10 yrs of building a nuclear program, increasing the size of their military in all areas, co-opting Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, etc. in fostering terror orgs in the ME, and breaking UN resolutions in regards to inspecting their nuclear plants, Iran is going to say "No problem, no nukes, trust us"....oh, yeah, btw, "It's OK to lie to infidels per their holy books."

I think if Israel was behind the opposition in Iran the same way Iran was behind Hamas and Hizbullah, they would have a good reason to try an arm themselves, as it is our mere existance is something they fight against and so they are aggresors against us and that alone is why we will try to prevent them from Nuke, we wouldnt have any affairs with them if it wasnt for their support on Hamas and Hizbi.

Since my ppl were shot at and bombed since 48-67, before the WB conquest, I suppose your idea of "living" is accepting being fired from some hill top day after day, If someone repeatedly shoots me from a hill top then I will climb that hill and make sure no one shoots from there again. want peace ? make me trust you no one will shoot me again. I think that's very fair. hard but fair.

    - - - Updated - - -

That's the tactic, they will be so annoyed they will bomb it themselves.

Why would they do that? Surely not out of the threatening language of the Iranian Mullahs and presenting a pre-emptive defensive posture....Israel is so small that there is no 'Plan B" in recovering from a single nuclear attack.

Very true, add to that years of sanctions they could have ended at any time,

Its a hoax to anyone not blinded by politics, they built enough now its just a matter of decision.

Iran won't nuke Israel.. They would be annihilated. If Israel bombs Iran, Iran would probably bomb the Saudi oilfields and Kuwait. That would do the most damage to the world economy.

Tehran is not going to nuke anybody. There has yet to be another country that has nuked another.
Why should you assume Iran is going to be the 2nd to do so?

Iran wants nukes to give themselves power in the region. Like the other nuclear powers. It gives them protection from being invaded.

A hostile nation not even on Israel's border that denies the Holocaust and has a long history of threatening language to 'wipe Israel off of the face of the earth.'

Why does Iran care about Israel who doesnt have a history of being a threat to them?

Israel is the 'uniter' of a Muslim world, or shud I say, Caliphate under Sharia Law, etc.

But of course, 'some' biased, bigoted ppl cant or rather 'refuse' to see/admit that!!

Do you actually think that Israel cares if some Iranian doesn't believe there was a Holocaust? That is basically a MEMRI accusation anyway.. Most Arabs question why the Palestinians have paid for the holocaust with their blood and land... not whether or not there was a Holocaust in Europe.

Don't fall for that Caliphate crap.. .. Arab interests are too diverse for a Caliphate.. and the last one was a real dud that turned much of the Arab world into an illiterate backwater.

Most Arabs are completely unconcerned with the Mahdi.. Even most Shia are unconcerned with the Mahdi.

Some guy stood up in Mecca in 1979 and claimed he was the Mahdi.. He was shot dead on the spot.

We have our Rapture Ready bozos and they certainly aren't the majority.

Dont you ever get tired of fighting the same 'disingenuous' battle day-in and day-out?!

I guess that 'hate' doesnt go away when it is continually 'fanned!'

Hate? I don't hate anyone.. People get very emotional and sometimes irrational when they don't have good information.

They fret about the Mahdi .. they fret about a new Caliphate until they can justify all sorts of fear and violent reaction.

I guess the way to show Iran's 'latest' lying ways and not just go thru the same vain 'spinning of our wheels,' is to meet me back on this thread in 6 months...do we have a date?
