According to statistics compiled by the Barnardos Children's Charity, the number of homeless children jumped 45% over the last year.

    https://www.barnardos.ie/media-cent...-number-of-children-lost-to-homelessness.html

1 out of 30 children in the U.S. were classified as homeless as of 2016, although the majority of them were not actually sleeping outside.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/business/economy/one-30-american-children-homeless-report-says-n250136

In 2017 a report found that 1 out of 20 experienced homelessness some time that year.

    https://www.npr.org/sections/ed/201...illion-kids-experience-homelessness-each-year

The number of homeless children has gradually been on the rise since 2012, although in some places the trend started as early as 2001.

Out of the number of total homeless persons, 1 out of 5 are children, it is estimated.

If only we weren't so concerned with importing as many foreigners as possible.

We just might have the resources and time to take care of our own.

Funny how it started going up on Obama's watch.

Can anyone explain that to us?

That is absolutely ridiculous. There are serious problems in our society and ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. You hear about things more because of media coverage. We know about things more because of studies and surveys being more widespread and disseminated to the public like never before. Child prostitution may be higher than what we have had statistics on before, but other problems are less than they were. Homelessness seems higher because of how it is defined, and so on. We will always have problems in our society. They are not more so than in other times; in general they are less. Don't look back at the past with rose tinted glasses. Have a more intelligent, circumspect, cognizant world view.

So clearly we should import more.

Am I right or am I right ...or am I left?

Not my responsibility to take care of someone just because I refuse to kill them

OK, guess once they're born (and cost money) they aren't so "precious".

It all starts at the spreading of the legs. You should travel deeper into the responsibilities of "making a choice."

Instead, you've already decided who will play the role of the victim.

Didn't you hear? The results of all of your decisions are somebody else's responsibility.

Unless a woman is raped or the birth could be fatal, no innocent child should perish due to the responsible party's poor decision to have a good time for a few minutes. If you're looking to get laid, you need to be prepared to take care of whatever unwanted responsibility comes with it whether it's an STD or a child. Or FFS take a morning after pill before there's ever a chance.

Indeed. I've gathered that over the past 9 years. Their poor decisions are always someone else's fault. It NEVER starts with them, ever.

OK, guess once they're born (and cost money) they aren't so "precious". ..and if the mother doesn't comply with your standards of conduct the resulting child deserves no mercy....how bizarre..

Oh? When does the "preciousness" end? I suspect at birth, correct?

..thank you for confirming what I already knew about Anti-Choicers..."preciousness" ends at birth when the woman can no longer be controlled through her fetus ..

You can stop repeating that, you're not tugging at my heart with it. If they were as precious as you keep saying then you wouldn't support the choice to murder them. This is a partisan issue to you, it's an issue of responsibility to me. If a woman is going to willingly lay on her back or belly for a night of fun, and a man is going to willingly partake in the pleasure then both need to take the responsibility of caring for whatever consequences may occur.

    Well said.
Responsibility is something these people seem to be lacking. Nothing is their fault it seems.

Quit acting like you're so high, mighty, and all knowing. You couldn't be any further off point with your silly comment.

    Nothing at all.

Hey taxpayers, you need to pay for my birth control!
Hey taxpayers, you need to pay for my abortion!
Hey taxpayers, you need to pay for my welfare because I don't have a job!
Hey taxpayers, you need to pay for my housing because I don't have a house!
Hey taxpayers, you need to pay for my healthcare because I don't have any!
I can't find a way to the DMV for a $10 ID at any point over a 4 year period, Voter ID is racist and oppresses me, but I can find my way to a protest to scream about racist cops.

. . .and on and on and on and on and on and on and on it goes.
