NY moves the Trump civil investigation to a criminal investigation

    Trump's troubles just got much worse today. The NY AG says:
    • "We have informed the Trump Organization that our investigation into the organization is no longer purely civil in nature.
    • We are now actively investigating the Trump Organization in a criminal capacity, along with the Manhattan DA."

    This brings a whole new assortment of headaches and problems to the Trump family and Trump's "business" dealings.

    This is precisely why Trump was so desperate to stay in office. He knew justice was coming for him and thought he might abuse the presidency to escape it. His role model across the Urals controls his nation's entire justice system and media.

    We all agree that if Trump is accused and found guilty, the chances that he has signed a pardon for himself are 100%.

    And it won't change the blind devotion of millions of Americans to this thug.

    But, in the end, there would no longer be that sense of injustice that a criminal like him could get away with murder without any consequences.

    Truth be told, I didn't think anyone would have the gumption to investigate Trump criminally. I hope good comes from this.

    He may have issued a secret pardon (or desperately claim to as a last ditch effort), but that won't shield him from State charges.

    I actually hope that they did get him. It'll be the only way they forget Trump. If he's in prison, Democrats will turn their attention to the nation.

    Trump is but a human, like all of us and all of us are culpable to the justice system if we're caught with criminal acts. If he committed crimes, I hope he's prosecuted and convicted of the crimes he's committed. If he's acquitted in court I hope that too is accepted.

    Odd thing to say. Which Democrats are talking about Trump? The administration hasn't uttered his name. I'm sure some obscure congressperson somewhere talks about Trump, but from what I see, the Democrats are trying to pass legislation. It's the Republicans who are in a free fall over Trump, and saying no to legislation. Gotta be the best projection post I've seen in some time.
