    https://edition.cnn.com/2020/08/03/politics/trump-new-york-vance-investigation/index.html

“Manhattan prosecutors on Monday asked a federal judge to dismiss President Donald Trump's lawsuit challenging a subpoena for his financial records, emphasizing that their investigation extends beyond hush-money payments and pointing to public reports of "extensive and protracted criminal conduct" at the Trump Organization.”

Oh my goodness. Extensive and protracted criminal conduct at the Trump Organization.

This really doesn’t look good for Dirty Donny. Looks like he will be spending a lot of time in court, and maybe behind bars, after he leaves the White House in January.

If true then they should have no trouble presenting the evidence that they have that would give the judge probable cause enough to grant the search warrants.

    Where is it?

Dunno. From the previous court decisions it looks like they already have.

This story is about the fact that the investigation goes well beyond hush payments to a porn star. It’s about “extensive and protracted criminal conduct" at the Trump Organization.”

If this turns out to be true, will you change your view of trump? Or will you just refuse to believe it, no matter what?

What "extensive and protracted criminal conduct"? They can't even name it. Jaywalking is a criminal offense. I'm not going to stop supporting him because of some minor offense. Tell me the offense and give me the proof and then I'll decide.

I'm not a leftist that will turn on someone at the slightest offense.

They haven’t named it publicly. That doesn’t mean they can’t name it.

Why are you so afraid of the authorities investigating trump for criminal activity? Afraid they’ll find something?

Then I remain skeptical. If they won't name it then they shouldn't get a warrant. Warrants must include an articulated reason. Not a generalized "we gotta find SOMETHING on this guy!!!".

There are lots of redactions in the documents that have been made public. Wait and see.

Are you afraid that trump will actually be exposed as a corrupt criminal?

Go get him tiger. I bet this is that "one more thing" nebulous and unnamed charges that will bring down the Trump kingdom that the left has manufactured.

I believe it is a variety of Tax and Banking Fraud are the two crimes for which his organization is being probed.

The problem with your line of logic is that these filings do not need to convince John Q from the public, they need to convince a judge.

We are talking about someone who was denied a casino license because of too many Mafia ties. The AFP has known he is as dirty as for YEARS

They are still rummaging through the trash and mud looking for bolstering stuff. Maybe they finally realized the the hush money business, which the SDNY investigated and concluded there was nothing there, is a complete sham and won't hold up to let them go on a fishing expedition.

    Called it.

They have grand jury-approved subpoenas already. That was the whole point of Trump SC case: trying to claim he and everyone associated with him are immune from the laws that would apply to the rest of us when it comes to subpoenas. The SC didn't buy his case.

You may be skeptical. The grand jury has heard enough to justify a subpoena.

What this shows is that some aspects of the legal system need to move much quicker.

For a second there, I gave your post the BOTD, and googled it since I didn't know if he eventually did or not.

    Didn't happen

You got me with that one... You owned a lib with another lie...

The new Trump supporter line of reasoning is that only warrants are Constitutional and now all subpoenas are illegal.
