I heard on the radio today that Republicans in New York voted for the Republican Health Care bill, which cuts Medicaid. This is not surprising. What's surprising is that I learned that Medicaid is paid for with property taxes and the Republicans in New York are going to argue that they saved New Yorkers from a property tax hike. Is it going to work? Can Republicans convince people to end Medicaid funding by bribing them with the idea of property taxes NOT going up??? If it works what does that mean for our social programs???
