Yeah, this is what Romney should do with his floundering campaign. Become a raging birther! A foreign exchange student, who was born in Hawaii.

A mother CANNOT "take away" a child's citizenship, no matter WHAT she does. So there is no need for her to have EVER "given it back" to Obama.

Very hard to go to public school in Indonesia without being a citizen. His father was Indonesian and may have adopted him under Indonesian law. That would not negate his American citizenship but we all know that his bio has him as an Indonesian up until 2007 which means he certainly could have attended Columbia as a foreign exchange student.

He certainly has something to hide.

It does not appear he is hiding anything. You are inventing these incredible scenarios, such as him being an exchange student, and then when he is not bothered with such ridiculous claims, you claim he is hiding something.

 

As it turns out, Romney was subsidizing the Obama family while they lived in Indonesia! He wrote it off his taxes as a deduction, but I guess we'll never see the evidence!

PS. How does a Columbia graduate not understand how stupid and ignorant that is? I imagine Columbia won't release this guys record, because they would be embarrassed to admit they actually granted some one who makes such a basic error of logic.

I don't know what happened while Obama was at Columbia. I have no knowledge; and other than a small amount of curiosity, I really don't care much what happened while he was there. I care about what he is doing NOW to screw up my country.

That being said, I do find it fascinating that there are not more people out there who say "Hey! I was friends with Obama at Columbia." or "Hey! I had several classes with Obama at Harvard." Weird. Who were his college friends?

I had a VERY small circle of friends when I was in college. The university had about 15,000 students. If I ran for president today, I think that my college friends would acknowledge to the media that Jenda is their friend from college. They would say "we were roommates in XYZ Dorm," "we hung out at the XYZ Diner," "we were in intramural sports," etc. There would be some connection other than we all graduated in 1987.

Whether you think the volume of people coming out in the media to claim to know Obama in college is high enough is up to you- frankly I never cared about how many people claimed to know Bush at Yale and I don't really see any relevance to how many knew Obama at Columbia.

Why would he? What possible reason would he Obama release something that Romney and every previous President has declined to voluntarily release?

Since Obama's citizenship eligibility has been questioned by so many, and rightfully so, it's much more imperative that he release all of his college records for obvious reasons. If Obama was a R, Jeff and Rahl would be all over him to come clean!

Of all the many things that establish citizenship and eligiblity- college records is quite surprisingly not one of them.

Birth certificate- like the one Obama and then Romney showed us- yep
Confirmation by the State of Hawaii- check
Confirmation by Congress- check

And no- I am equally opposed to those who raise stupid questions about Romney, and when people made stupid points about Rick Perry's college records- which were illegally leaked and I think the person who did it should be prosecuted.

I have never asked any candidate- Republican or Democrat to show me his college records. I think only an idiot would feel a need to see them in order to decide how to vote.
