Marines to Seek to Close Some Combat Jobs to Women

Obama's yes man Sec. of the Navy Mabus ignores Marine Corps study

Obama continues using the military for social engineering

Congressman calls for Sec. of Navy Mabus resignation

Valerie Jarrett to announce again that diversity makes the military stronger :roflol:

Obama again refuses to listen to his military advisers

Putin and China have big grins on their faces

ISIS wants more Marines boots on the ground in Iraq, they need more women to rape

Obama is at it again, forcing PC social engineering upon our military and ignoring the military advice and jeopardizing national security in the name of political correctness.

Conditions of anonymity in Obama's military is not wanting to be purged from the military by Obama for PC political reasons.

Should be noted that the Navy brass has protested of being forced to have women serve on submarines.

The Marine Corps year long study says different. Marines will bleed and die because of liberal PC social engineering.

Every time the U.S. military has been used for social engineering, American soldiers, Marines, sailors and airmen have been killed in the name of political correctness.

No surprise at all. Obama wants Eric Fanning to be Sec of the Army - Fanning has spent his entire adult life inside the beltway, he's a gay activist who was on the board of the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund, and his priority for the Army is to turn them into "leaders of diversity", and he has stated the next objective is to allow transgenders to openly live in the Army.

obama and the "progressives" know they are destroying the fighting effectiveness of the military, but to them its more important to change the culture of the nation then for the nation to survive.

Besides, obama does not want a powerful military, that fits his objective of making the US a second rate nation (that's the "progressives" idea of social justice on the world stage) which is forced to lead from behind and sit in the back row.

They don't care how many get killed in the name of diversity.

The political left did the same thing during the Vietnam War when they ordered the Army, Marine Corps and Navy to accept Cat-5's into the military. It was "Project 500,000" but better known as "McNamara's Moron Corps" or "McNamara's Moron Brigade." Stupid recruits being able to enlist but to stupid to be drafted. There are a lot of names on the Vietnam War Memorial Wall because of that liberal social engineering experiment.

The Obama administration ignoring the results of the year long study that women shouldn't serve in grunt units.

Re Fanning, I seriously doubt he would have been picked as Secretary of the Army if he was straight.

What is your real priority here? I KNOW women who COULD do combat.......but maybe don't want to. It's not middle ages, fighting with swords and such. I KNOW ladies who ARE damn athletic. I know ladies good with guns,or who have size, strength, are mountain climbers, skiers. I know others who are natural leaders. In a No Draft case.....we ain't going with sheer numbers. Can a female fly an Apache? operate on an Abrams? Yeah. That's doable. I DOUBT ever we see a high % of females in combat... but those ABLE...why not?

Can a woman change a thrown track on an Abram's ?

The liberal PC social engineering activist can't handle the truth but the Marine Corps study shows that "all-male Marine units outperform squads with women in them."

Also both the Marine Corps and Army in Afghanistan and Iraq have experienced the deterioration of unit cohesion in grunt units any time women from REMF units were in the area.

    How do you "know"?

Look at the recent experiment with the Ranger School. A total of 138 started that process, 19 actually made it through the prep phase and started the school, and zero passed. Three were given multiple chances to restart the program (more than men get), and a General finally set the tone that there would be a female Ranger before 3 eventually graduated. At best that's a 2% pass rate - ridiculously low. And the women that went into that process were certainly motivated and knew they were pushing the envelope.

We don't have the money to run 138 women through an expanded program just to - maybe - get 2-3 that pass. For less effort we can run 138 men through the regular program and get 70 graduates.

How much of the limited resources do you want to spend in finding those rare 1 in a thousand women who can actually do the job?

The Marine study found similar results - including finding that the top 25% of females were in the bottom 25% of males in physical ability.

Women don't fight women, there is no segregation in war. A platoon of women will fight an enemy platoon of men, those men will move faster, carry more gear, fight better because they are in better shape, and will be more violent. Do you want to bet your life and your family that the women can win in war?

There are jobs women can do in the military. Infantry isn't one of them.

There are a ton of interesting, challenging, and responsible jobs that women can do in the U.S. military. The diversity of such jobs is really amazing.

That said, as the Marine Corps very adequately researched, they don't belong in infantry units. This is PC social engineering at its worst.

No, but you want to bet your life and that of your family on half a fighting force.

As for the rest, women are far more aggressive and committed in battle. Men worry about themselves, not just killing the enemy. Women in combat fixate singularly on killing the enemy. Women have been in battle, definitely in WWII. They never retreated. Never surrendered. They rather would fight to the death if massively over run, fighting to the last woman taking far more enemy and enemy equipment with them as they did. The men? They ran away. When a woman goes furious, there's no stopping her. I would figure some of you guys would know that.

Just that women sign up knowing all the rules are written for men and knowing the old men in the Marines want to blow them out anyway possible also indicates how determined some women can be against clearly impossible odds and adversaries. Given the open attitude of the majority of Marines that women are just "squaws," any women who signs up either has to be insane or someone wanting a fight.

Don't complain if women again decide the election and vote for someone reducing the military. It should not surprise you that it is not human nature to support anyone or any activity by which those in it declare you are inferior and subordinate existing only to serve those who claim they are greater.

I understand some military men are afraid of, intimidated by and insecure around women. Maybe that's why many of them join up just wanting to be around other men.

Do you think it is possible that this attitude of looking down on women from a self declared superiority in the Marines might have something to do with why the divorce rate for Marines is DOUBLE that of the other branches of service? (6% per year verse 3%, though it was 9% prior to women being allowed to sign up.)

I think you are really 2 people under the same forum name. Sometimes you post reasonably well thought out arguments (some I agree with, some I disagree with), other times you post ridiculous rants like the one above.

The aura of butthurt is powerful in this thread. Change is always painful but the Marines will weather this storm and from it, will arise an even stronger Corp. "Semper Fi"

The butthurt happened on September 20, 2011.

You are already assuming that Donald Trump will be the new Commander in Chief in 2017.

It's not about the genital. It's about the score in your MOS school.
