You're right nothing has changed. Congress didn't even change. it is going to be 4 more years of the same stuff. The only difference is our econonmy is a speeding train that is no over the cliff. And you know what is sad, is all those on gov't asstance are the ones who are going to get hit hard.
Yeah, we'll get 4 more years of Repub whining. So things will remain the same. Maybe Mitch McConnell is having a stroke right now. If so it couldn't happen to a more deserving guy. I can see Boehner crying like a baby right now.
This prediction is coming from the same conservatives who claimed that Obama would lose. The conservaties not only lost the election but their prediction track record is zero.

Obama needs to channel Clinton now, and directly call out the Republican obstructionists for what they are. He doesn't have to play nice now, he's not getting another term. Time to put the screws to them and expose them for the jackasses they are so that things get done.
Obama wins, America loses. Recession for four more years. Four more years of decline. Four more years of foreign policy debacles.
That's the sad part. All that voted, because they're dependent on the govt...they're screwed the most. Me, I work in a sort of recession proof industry in a fantastic company that isn't going anywhere, unless there's a nuclear war. Just looked over...Ohio could be even closer than it appears..=) Maybe its not for sure yet.
My thoughts: Obama narrowly escaped being fired. This should be sobering to him. It is no mandate. Incumbents are difficult to defeat- look at Bush's second term win. The Republican National Committee has picked two losers in a row. Heads should roll. They can forget donations until that happens. The economy will worsen as the effects of Obama's policies continue to wreck havoc. At best, we will see continued economic malaise. At worse, a horrible recession or depression. Businesses are not going to hire in the numbers that we need. The Middle East will continue to unravel as Obama's incoherent foreign policy continues to falter and fail. Iran will get a nuke unless Israel attacks. Israel will be isolated and the risk of a conventional war will increase dramatically. Obama will do nothing to address the trade imbalance with China. They bought the Democrat party years ago. (Note: Rove and the Romney campaign are saying- not so fast)
I was one never said that Obama was sure to lose. I said that Obama stood a chance of a loseing. With the way everyting was shaping, I know that Rommey didn't stand a chance.
