Healthcare "coverage" is insurance....insurance pays the providers (nurses, doctors).....you can pay them different ways...cash, or pay for insurance, then the insurance pays the cost, Insurance companies of course want the most clients as possible....not sure why you would think otherwise. Insurance companies are required to honor the contract you sign...if they break it, you can sue them,....good luck with a lawsuit against the Govt....they have something called sovereign immunity...hard to win a case when they say they can't cover the cost.
Freedom or tyranny. Choice or government dictates. My life my way, not as you wish it to be. Oh, believe me, I now exactly what I’m talking about,
Oh yeah right. Government subsidized, government written, government regulate, government coerced, government, government, government.... Damn. Silly me.
You mean the government telling people they have to provide what they actually sell you is a problem ? Its only subsidized for those who qualify. But you knew that you were already subsidizing that cost when they didn't pay. Insurance is already regulated by the government.....no change there
It's also unconstitutional. The trillions wasted on this nightmare should land Obama and some of his advisors in prison. Obama lied to get his unconstitutional bill passed that cost this country trillions of dollars and wrecked healthcare.
Okay. Slowly: The government tells the insurance companies what they must sell, to whom they must sell, and at what price. Now, you keep pretending it’s free market, and I’ll keep believing it’s not.
The reason healthcare sucks is because the irresponsible are forcing the responsible to pay for the irresponsibles’ irresponsibility.
And the company has many products its not a matter of just one. Tell me do you make sure that any companies in which you invest make no more than a 23% net profit and no more than 11% return on assets?
Where on earth were you taught that the Tad and Spend clause of the Constitution is about private businesses and their profits? And if an 11% net profit level is an obscene profit level what level would not be? At what point with your own retirement money do you say that company makes too much money?
Nope the BS was when you asked me a question I answered and asked you and then you started your dodging and weaving as usual.
It involves them sending them home and to their GP for treatment. Why do you keep ignoring that Obamacare notbonky failed to decrease ER visits but in fact they have gone up.
Exactly. For a very long time we've found that free market enterprise does NOT solve the healthcare distribution problem. As a result, we've added regulation after regulation to try to force insurance corporations to do what is needed even though they don't want to. We've even required employers to get involved in the hope that more citizens would get coverage. In the end, free market enterprise is just plain not interested in giving the kind of coverage that citizens need. Every regulation was put in place due to a hole that free market enterprise did not want to fix..
No, insurance companies are NOT motivvated by free market enterprise to "cover everyone". This is just a blatant misunderstanding of free market capitalism. In free market capitalism, there is one goal -- maximization of profit. Profit is pretty much NEVER maximized by ANY attempt to sell a product to every citizen. EVERY US for-profit company shares the fact that selling a product to every citizen is just NOT a goal.
I personally lost a Doctor right after Obamacare kicked in because she decided to go cash only, no insurance of any kind. When I asked why, she point blank told me she wasn't going to work for what Ocare was gonna pay and had no desire to deal with the bureaucracy. So much for "if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor', huh?
