There must be something that can be done. It's worse to have someone that will cause everything to slow down than no one. Those folks do need represented. I'm not suggesting they don't. I'm suggesting they be lumped in with another district or two or three, where they can be represented by a competent individual.

I don't know that she's any more or less competent than anyone else they might get; NY politics is a super-swamp infested with vampire rat-kings.

AOC kinda reminds me of Adam Clayton Powell, and she may burn out, sell out, get thrown out or fade away.

Time will tell, but it's a heck of an interesting ride so far, and Congress could use a few hundred more like her as far as I'm concerned; she's what democracy should look like, crazy eyes & all.

On the economy, you are simply wrong.

HUD? I work for HUD. Irregularities are typically addressed by property management, not some secret police force. Why you fight fair trade deals with our allies is beyond me, and Germany has been buying oil from Russia for decades. The wall will be extracted from Mexico, he just can't advertise exactly how. You did not address my points on NK. Again, you either negotiate with enemies, or fight them.

I choose not to get in a protracted engagement with you involving sourcing etc, because it is time consuming. You can feel free to read the one I am having, and even kibitz (autocorrect, you can look that one up too).

No she didn't. You're projecting. Did you even read her tweet ? Its said "a member of the BODY that has subpoena power now"

And in all honestly, if you really think that making threats of that kind is such an abuse of power, or bad in any way, then im sure you will be posting the same about PTOUS and his rhetoric ?

The World was quite content with the ripping off Americans to the tune of $600B a year and Trump is upsetting the wholesale exploitation of the American Worker. I love the way the Left is always mouthing platitudes about supporting the American Worker yet yells and screams in horror with someone even suggests that we get treated fairly.

Yes I read her tweet and it was a threat of using the power of Congress to retaliate.

I am correct on the economy as Obama got us out of the Great Recession and on the way to recovery. Where were you hiding while this was happening?
"In February 2009, Congress approved Obama's $787 billion economic stimulus package. It cut taxes, extended unemployment benefits, and funded public works projects.

The recession ended in July 2009 when GDP growth turned positive.

In just seven months, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act pumped $241.9 billion into the economy. That increased growth to a robust 3.9 percent rate by early 2010. By March 30, 2011, almost all ($633.5 billion) of the funds were spent.

    Obama
bailed out the U.S. auto industry on March 30, 2009. The federal government took over General Motors and Chrysler, saving three million jobs. It forced the companies to become more fuel efficient and therefore more globally competitive." www.thebalance.com/what has obama done"
Nor do I fight fair trade deals. I fight the pugnacious attitude of Trump as he alienates friends and foes alike.
If Hud is not short-staffed, then someone at HUD is lying, and I would expect 'property management' to address that issue. It is HUD that handles the problems with low-income housing.
He can't advertise how Mexico will pay? The guy is a liar and has no plan and you believe that he does? You must have some nefarious secret information.
NK has increased its nuclear capability and I have already addressed it.
When are you going to stop defending what cannot be defended?

I don't know anything about NY.

I get that you are seeing someone who is hungry for change and it's attractive. I'd like that too. It's mainly why I like Trump. He wants to change the status quo and has to some extent, but you can see how hard the left is working against any of his efforts.

I do not like her ideas about taxing the rich. I'm not rich. I just know, you tax some corporation and they will figure out how much each loaf of bread has to go up to cover operating costs. In the end, the poor will pay. If we get socialism, the poor will pay the most. Best bet is to regulate, stop 401ks and go back to pensions.

Crazy? Well it could be or I might have stumbled onto why the cost of goods has gone up, despite them being made in China or Indonesia, or some other place they work for $1 a twelve hour day.

Warehousing goods until stocks rise, then releasing them for sale, which is a part of futures trading, which I hate, puts money in 401s and also causes prices to rise.

There are regs that should be removed and some that should be implemented. I don't think she has any clue about that stuff.

I have not heard that particular lunacy from Hank Johnson, only the Guam capsizing risk, and the need to make helium more widely available for comics so they can make their voices sound funny. Definitely should be a Congressional priority.

The Jews as termites comment I heard was from Louis Farrakhan who fits your description of a vile hateful bigot and an Obama pal.

Farrakhan is another Left Wing anti-Semite that the Left is VERY comfortable with. His vile hateful racist bigotry toward Jews doesn't bother the Left at all.

Hank Johnson continues to catch flak from Jewish groups for 'termites' remark

Believe you are confusing Trump's worrying about American corporations with treating American workers fairly. After all the big middle class worker tax cut was really just a gift for the rich and for corporations. Time to wake up and realize that what is good for American corporations is not necessarily good for America or it's working people.

Well I thought Hank Johnson was just an amusing buffoon. You have showed me he is far more dangerous than that.

These folks most certainly have the potential to be dangerous. Between Triumphant Trump and Cocaine Mitch, we should be ok.

Foul-Mouthed Rashida and the Duplicitous Democrats

Rashida Tlaib's incredibly vulgar epithet against the president draws attention to a particular quirk among the left.
