Diplomacy doesn't apply to partisan discussion about the business of the nation. There is absolutely no obligation or expectation of privacy in a meeting like that unless it is a issue of national security. When you are dealing with your opposition and you say stupid racist things, you're an idiot to think they are going to protect your image. Each is trying to beat the others brains out and when one of them hands the other a gigantic club, you can bet its gonna land square on the idiots head.

This is the president. He is president of all the people. He is perceived to be the temporary living embodiment of american power, values and law. He isn't the guy at the bar or your or I.

We use that language all the time for all kinds of politically incorrect comments but we have no power. The problem with trump defenders is that they refuse to understand that the words of the president are considered the voice of america. Unfortunately he is too stupid to understand this basic concept much to the damage of the American Brand, the Office and the people.

Actually this is the norm across every major company. Using vulgar insults against other co-workers in official meets is not ever appropriate and in any decent company you will either get a very stern warning or get fired. I heard of a guy who made a tacky joke slide in a presentation to the very upper-management and he was fired that day.

What happened to this topic when it was Obama swearing a blue streak? Obama alleged it was good to calm him down.

 

What if some co-worker you didn't like called your house a shithole in front of everyone else? Thats not an insult?

I shall try to review PBS prior broadcasts over the Obama cursing and see if they paid any attention.

I did a preliminary scan seeking Obama curses and as I expected, PBS did not devote time to his cursing.
