As everyone knows, President's don't act like angels all the time. The historical record has confirmed that. I guess you would be shocked to learn President's actually drop the occasional F-Bomb too.

At least going forward, the country has learned what Durbin's sense of duty and country means to him. Obviously it takes a back seat to his own ego and self promotion.

 

Well that is obviously not true. Durbin acted selfishly, and put himself above the Nation. First, he was not man enough to face the camera's immediately after this meeting. Like the coward that he is, he leaked it. Then, he went out and apparently misrepresented what happened.

Everything about that is self serving. The man proved himself a self centered child, with no care about anything but his own self-promotion.

 

IF you are trying to get something from those people you are in a different position than the case when they are trying to get something from you. They aren't co-workers- they are people of undisciplined countries that can't manage themselves well wanting access to the American pocketbook. Failing to recognize the realities only leads to making stupid mistakes.

 

I believe that what was said was said in private confidence with those few in attendance. It was the idiot Democrats in attendance who repeated it to the whole world.

My respect for Durbin has bottomed out.

 

It's not so much the fact that he swears...it's what he is saying about other countries...and the fact that his "ire" is focused on countries populated by those with brown skin while expressing a definite preference for immigration from countries that have "paler" commplexions
