Do you have an example of something good that came of that?

(Not the peanut butter and chocolate - you've got me on that one!!)

    Nikolai Tesla, lol.

Yeah, I like N. Tesla, but good lord!!!

I'm still hoping for an example.

I see it in every invention and discovery ever made, but I'm sure you would disagree, lol. Anything where the imagination is engaged is interfacing with the spiritual world, in my opinion.

So, you believe that humans don't have imagination?

Obviously, there is no way to test anything concerning the "spiritual world", so people are free to believe whatever they want.

how do you get “humans don’t have imagination” out of what I said? I did not say that at all.

and yes, people are absolutely free to believe what they want. That is what existence is all about, the spiritual journey. At times, the point you are at in that journey is to be an atheist. Nothing wrong with that at all. It’s all part of the experience.

You said, "Anything where the imagination is engaged is interfacing with the spiritual world..."

How would that allow for imagination NOT requiring the spiritual world?

I don’t know. We are spiritual beings experiencing a human existence. I guess I do not understand your question. Whenever we are using our imagination, it is interfacing the spiritual world, which is also a part of us. So I don’t understand what you meant when you thought I was saying humans don’t have imagination.

Well, I guess you can propose that there is a "spiritual world" anywhere you want.

But, why the edges related to imagination?

Why not just say that everything we do and think comes from that spiritual world?

Does it? Maybe from a certain perspective, if you look at it as all that truly exists is god (love), and everything we perceive as reality is just an illusion, the contrast between love and absence of love. Or you could look at it from the perspective of the egoic mind and higher mind, which I suppose amounts to the same thing in different wrapping. Look at it however you want. It's all part of the journey. Hell, I'll probably find out in a few days I have been looking at the whole universe wrong. It's a wild ride, man.

Holy crap! Take 10 minutes to google quantum mechanics?!?!!?!?

Any serious discussion is over right there. Try taking about 8 years of physics and math and then you are somewhat qualified to debate the nature of reality. To be an actual expert in some area of physics these days, it takes more like 12 years of study. And even then, present a new hypothesis of this kind and about a 100 actual, real scientists who actually studied hard in school for just as long or longer, are probably going to rip you a new one before you get done hitting the publish button.

Or... perhaps a whole group of other scientists with decades of background in researching and discussing this sort of thing will give you some credit!
