Well my Philadelphia Phillies had a rough start but we're finally on a winning streak and above .500

Still with such a lousy bullpen and sketchy offense, I'm afraid to say this doesn't look like a world series bound team :(

Even though they're in the dismal AL Central, I'm pleased to see the Indians in first place. Any type of winning record is welcomed news in Cleveland.

Pujols is batting a dismal .213 so far for the LA Angels.

    $240 Million dollars well spent.

I gotta believe he'll pick it up and earn his salary sooner or later. I remember when there were rumors that the Phillies would trade Ryan Howard for Pujols a couple years back. Many of my Howard-loyalist friends would hate me for it, but I really wish we made that deal. Pujols is a BEAST.

Nice to see the Phillies now on a 6 game winning streak and some fun interleague play going on last night.

Disappointing end to the Phillies' interleague series with the Red Sox, with our typically excellent starting pitching giving up big early leads in 2 games and the offense falling short for a 2-1 loss of the series.

Oh well. Looking ahead, gotta win this series against the Washington Nationals starting tomorrow if we wanna get out of the basement any time soon.

After a disappointing series against the Nationals, the Phillies have gone on the road and taken a 1st inning lead of 4-0 against the defending world champion Cardinals.

(*)(*)(*)(*)! Roy Halladay removed from the game today after 2 innings, citing "shoulder soreness". It was obvious that Doc has not been himself lately, and now we have this to deal with. Really couldn't have come at a worse time for the Phils. Hope it's not something major.

Lets go Rays!!! Even with 10 players on the DL, 4 of them part of the "starting" lineup, they are still batteling for 1st in the toughest division in the AL.

And on a meager salary for their players at that.

In the end when some of those injured players come back, America's team the Boston Red Sox led by Red Sox Nation will end up beating Texac for the American league pennant. But I can't wait until the Sox meet up again with the Rays so as to witness a real downybrook. Everyone hates the Rays and their coaching staff.

I was waiting for the brawl this weekend. That pitcher was way out of line. 4 pitches straight at Scott, he deserved a beating.

All of the steroid scandals have kind of ruined baseball for me.

The last straw was when I found out that even Kenny Powers was juicin'.

Continued injuries and frustrating failure to follow through in scoring situations threaten to jeoparduze the Phillies season. Then again the NL east is so tight, we could be in 1st place next week.

Kenny Powers was just sick and tired of baseball trying to butt(*)(*)(*)(*) him all the time.

In the late 80's, early '90's...around 50% of the NFL was using steroids.

Where's the Congressional hearings on that?

Or is it expected in the NFL and not the MLB?

I don't even understand how people say steroids "ruined" baseball. It was a big thing for a number of years and now it's pretty tightly monitored. There have been 3 perfect games in the past 3 years. Baseball is awesome right now.

I hope the Rays can get people off being injured. Still 9 games above 500 and loaded with injuries.

I can't speak for all baseball fans, just for myself. For me, steroids may not have ruined baseball, but it put a serious dent in the record books. In baseball, more so than in other sports, records mean something. Say the numbers & just about every true baseball, or even just sports, fan, knows what your talking about: 60, 61, 714, 755, 56, 44. Just speaking for myself, steroids ruined the record book, not to mention the integrity of the sport. I'm still somewhat of a fan, just don't have the interest I used to have. On a happier note - How 'bout Santana pitching a no-hitter for my Mets...YES!!!
