Well at least you make clear, for the rest of us, why so many Republicans (and surrogates, in the cases of those who claim not to be Republican) think that this issue has been a bust: you completely misunderstood the story, in the first place! The main idea was NOT that Trump was going to get in trouble for being incomplete, in filling out paperwork. It was what this attempt to avoid documentation of his calls, indicates-- complicity, in designing this protest- turned- attack on the Capitol.

Hopefully, now, this will bolster the Committee's resolve, and their legal basis, to get the call records of all those around Trump, whose phones the ex- President is known to have, customarily, used. Does that clarify things, for you?

 

The committee is already resolved. They're resolved to destroy Trump and his supporters by any means necessary, legal or illegal.

If that's what you got from my post, read it again carefully. If you can refute the fact that Mike Lee's call log included at least one call direct from Trump from the WH (which was submitted by Mike Lee, himself, to the Jan 6th committee) is missing from the WH record of submission, then go for it with specifics.

 

If Trump took a 7 minute bathroom break some prog committee member would claim he was off secretly coordinating through back channels and demand even more investigations. They know Trump had nothing to do with 6-Jan but these these grand fabricated delusions of conspiracy is, literally, the only thing the left has to campaign with this season.
