Well it's always good for me! , I'm in agriculture and I get my fuel bulk, so I'll pay even less. Not good for the "Nigeria with snow". Less monies for wages, infrastructure, wars, seniors. But putler feels no pain, he's skimmed of gazprom for years, he can live in one of his 50 mansions around the globe when :icon_shithitsthefan hits the fan?

How long can the good times last? It was miserable when the prices were up and gas was over $3.

Have you ever looked at a study on cost of gasoline at the pump in today's money from 1960 til today? Gasoline is still a bargain that hasn't kept up with the cost of food, healthcare, housing or education. It will blow your mind.

By the way - a-a-ah, some days it feel good to be a pedestrian. ^^

No offence, car-owners, but I just don't get what is use in personal car. Kinda more fond of idea of the rented ones and public transportation.

It would take me 5 hours each way to get to work via public transportation here in suburban Atlanta. Makes me miss the options in Chicago.

    When premium was $4 a gallon I had a 400 HP V8, demanded 93 octane, and got 14 MPG. Now that regular is $2 + a gallon, I have a 4 cylinder, that gets 28 MPG. You can't win.

If you live next to a good busline, and you have grocery close by, and don't mind catching something from just getting on, and might get shot, and never go out anyway.

Even the really big American cities regard any kind of public transit as a poor stepchild. And if you don't live in LA, Chicago or NYC just forget it. The bus service in Sao Paulo Brazil was written up in Scientific American 20 years ago as having a MAXIMUM wait time for any bus of 5 minutes. Where I live the MINIMUM wait time is 30. MTA, Might Take Awhile

The good thing about low cost oil is that people driving cars pay less for their gas.

The bad thing is that we will use up the oil faster and there will be less for future generations.
