    Two full days...no stupid remarks from Donald Trump. No tweets...no comments to reporters or gathering.

    Obviously they have got him corralled...without his phone. (Or they've managed to disable it and convinced him that it is a plot from the left.) Chalk "them" up a gold star!

    So...the question is:

    How do we get him a phone?

    I say it is up to Bill Maher or any of the late night TV hosts.

    They've all got a dog in this fight.

    Any thoughts?

    Yeah, 2 schools of thought;

    1.) Trump has been messing with the media. He intentionally throws the media a bone consisting of some trivial error or harmless statement, knowing very well that they will bite on it. He wants them to chase it, gnaw on it, and chase their own tails until he throws them the next bone.

    or..

    2.) In past years, as a powerful businessman, the people surrounding him would never correct him if he misspoke and he just became accustomed to speaking off the cuff without checking himself for accuracy. So now he's being called on it by the media and he's making the needed corrections or adjustments to keep it from happening in the future.

    As a big Trump supporter, I'm hoping for #1, but being objective and thinking logically, I'll consider #2. The wise thing to do is watch carefully for more clues. For example, why is it he only seems to thrown out 1 "juicy bone" each time and not 2 or 3? That suggests to me he has control over the quantity.

    In any case, it's hilarious to watch the press go absolutely nuts over these things that really don't add up to much, but they try their best to make a mountain out of a molehill or a 6 course meal out of 1 bone. :)

    I'm convinced he's trolling, so I agree with #1. Ethically I think it's wrong, and I think he's the wrong man for the office, but at least his appointments (besides DoEd) have been pretty solid.

    Well, under normal circumstances, I'd agree with you on the ethics issue. However, since I know he's correct about the media being extremely dishonest, biased, with a goal to destroy Trump, that means WAR! So now it's a simple matter of fighting fire with fire. I admire Trump for bringing about an awareness of a dishonest media which is something I've known for the past 20years.

    I don't like it when he stops tweeting. It feels like he's cutting himself off from the American people when he doesn't.

    Keep tweeting Mr. President!!!

    Trump is cutting off the oxygen fuelling the MSM firestorm. CNN now covering DNC power struggles, and in-fighting. So long as Trump maintains a low profile, MSM will have to report what democrats AREN'T doing, as opposed to what Trump IS doing. The DNC is a trainwreck, and only the womens march has been a successful tour de force. Of course Madonna, and Ms Judd aren't interested in heading the DNC, and these million women aren't aligned with a party spokesperson. Silence is golden at the moment, NO news is good news!
