That would make Omar supporters anti-Semites, going on his logic.

I don’t get it. How is trump a bigot, because warren dramatically overstated her “native heritage” to game the system?

The suggestion that Congress is controlled by money is hardly offensive.

Her "apology" is faked, her libel is from the heart.

She doubled down on her conspiratorial assessment of U.S. politics, linking AIPAC to the National Rifle Association as examples of the “problematic role of lobbyists in our politics.”

AIPAC does not spend very much money on politics: It is not among the 100 biggest spenders on lobbying or even among the 5,000 biggest donors to political campaigns. Neither does the NRA, which was No. 4,161 among political donors in 2018 and No. 83 among lobbyists. For comparison, the NRA’s political contributions amount to a little less than 3 percent of those from the teachers’ unions. The power of these organizations does not come from bribery — it comes from belief: In this case, the belief that Israel is the only genuine liberal democracy in the Middle East and our nation’s most important and most reliable ally there. This is a belief that is apparent to many clear-eyed Americans — no Jewish “hypnosis” necessary.

The Democrat party does not seem to believe that anymore. Representative Omar is more of an obvious anti-Semitic bigot than is currently socially acceptable in Democrat circles is, but that they no longer see Israel as an allied Democracy in getting harder to deny each day.

    THE APOLOGY
    [IMG]

There is a reason that Ilhan Omar has resorted to anti-Semitic tropes. Omar is a proponent of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement. She is an Islamist hater of Israel. Omar’s hatred of Israel is necessarily anti-Semitic.

Recently Omar’s used the trope of the Myth of Jewish Hypnosis. Yesterday Omar resorted to another such trope. This time around, Jews are said to be buying support for Israel. Asked who was paying off American politicians, she responded: “AIPAC!” AIPAC doesn’t fund political campaigns, but you get the point. Jews! America! Israel! Israel! PAC!

Omar believes that the Jewish state is illegitimate, as she explained most recently in the video: “ILhan Omar: Why I hate Israel, cont’d.” Her Twitter effusions follow from long-held beliefs. When you are an anti-Semite, you are traffic in anti-Semitic tropes.

For some reason I didn't see the word "removed" as referring to the election cycle.

If her apology was an actual apology or it was sincere then I would have a totally different attitude towards this anti Semite Muslim bigot. It wasn't an apology as she never said what she was sorry for and how she was wrong. She took the short cut and blames the NRA and AIPAC. **** her.

Can you quote her anti-Semite comment that started this? I haven't been able to find it.

Google better then. You can ask Pelosi:

"Democratic Leadership Statement on Anti-Semitic Comments of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar
    February 11, 2019

Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, Majority Whip James E. Clyburn, Assistant Speaker Ben Ray Luján, Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries and Caucus Vice Chair Katherine Clark issued this joint statement condemning anti-Semitic comments made over Twitter by Congresswoman Ilhan Omar:

“Anti-Semitism must be called out, confronted and condemned whenever it is encountered, without exception.

“We are and will always be strong supporters of Israel in Congress because we understand that our support is based on shared values and strategic interests. Legitimate criticism of Israel’s policies is protected by the values of free speech and democratic debate that the United States and Israel share. But Congresswoman Omar’s use of anti-Semitic tropes and prejudicial accusations about Israel’s supporters is deeply offensive. We condemn these remarks and we call upon Congresswoman Omar to immediately apologize for these hurtful comments.

“As Democrats and as Americans, the entire Congress must be fully engaged in denouncing and rejecting all forms of hatred, racism, prejudice and discrimination wherever they are encountered.”"

    https://www.speaker.gov/newsroom/21119/

    Or Schumer:
"Senate Minority Leader Schumer: "Rep. Omar’s use of an anti-Semitic stereotype was offensive and irresponsible. This kind of intolerance has no place in Congress—or anywhere in American society. No one should invoke anti-Semitic tropes during policy disagreements.""

Or maybe Congressman Max Rose (D):
"Congresswoman Omar’s statements are deeply hurtful to Jews, including myself."

It's all about Taqiyya. She can lie as often as she wants if it's to prevent persecution for her Islamic faith - and is doing so.

Note also how qualified her 'apology' is..

She was born in Somalia so perhaps that's an indicator. She replaces Keith Ellison, another Muslim, who was charged with spousal abuse. In fact, strangely enough, none of the Democrats who ran in Minnesota's Fifth District were born in the USA.
