We have millions of homeless people. Would you support buying them all apartments with taxpayers' money? Cause that is precisely what Obamacare does with regards to health coverage.

I could not agree more. I have always held that Insurance companies are the weak link in Obamacare. There are ways to fix that, but I doubt Trump would adopt them.

Ok.. You need to make up your mind. First you asked this implying that Obamacare was free. When I responded that it wasn't, you responded acknowledging the fact. And now you seem to go back to the inaccurate assumption that it's free.

I would definitely support buying apartments and houses for homeless people who are then required to pay for them at low or no interest. During the Bush crisis there was a bill in Congress to buy some of the houses and apartment buildings that were abandoned because their owners were upside down on their loans. And then use them this way. But it went nowhere.

But, if you decide to respond to this, please make sure you are clear about your own position: obamacare is not free. As is, I could elaborate on my response, but it would contain a lot of "ifs" attempting to interpret what you are implying. The housing problem is different from healthcare. So solutions are different.

I'm not denigrating mental health coverage. I'm saying it's a waste to include that in a policy for people like myself who are 55 and have never needed it and will never need it. I shouldn't be forced to pay for it. That's like forcing an elderly gay couple to pay for fertility treatments.
