    Hi Bb,
the things which are happening right now are no coincidence, half the planet is in favor of a harder course, the other half are (like me) lost souls and probably humanists....

Something really interesting happened in the NSW State elections,
    https://www.news.com.au/finance/wor...o/news-story/0d206c8c8a3a779cd90e85e9eebf7048

Honestly I'm sick and tired listening to the left's abusive rhetoric, why should ordinary upstanding citizens be branded as dangerous and toxic, I'm voting for any right wing pro gun lobby and will likely donate as well. For the record I have no interest in owning a gun, purely a protest vote at smearing anyone who does not conform to leftists politics

    Hey sw,
so you will vote far right, because of the left's abusive rhetoric?
I am struggling to understand you, why would you allow a watering down of our gun law or wishing for an Aussie Adolf?
    Please explain...

    please explain lol

well the answer is in the latter of your post.... "Aussie Adolf" is he? says who? why? what exactly makes him Hitler? pro gun laws makes you Hitler? To me the labelling and smearing of individuals is wrong especially when not justified.

ps. btw there are laws against foreign donations so the whole NRA exercise was moot...clueless doesn't make you Hitler

    sw,
give Pauline enough rope and she will become the first female Adolf.
You and me know that, or?
And why do you blame everything on the left, it sucks!
We have reached a standstill under Libs/Nationals, not under the Greens....

 yes I do.. don't I, honestly I could probably write you an essay on the "why" or reasons for my behaviour... cough I mean post :)

Clearly I don't buy 100% into the ideology of the right but sit in the middle swinging left and right from time to time. The reasons for my protest/backlash... and this is what happens when you get a backlash... an overreach, are as follows; (I'll try to keep it short and not write the essay I clearly want to on the topic)

    1. The left is not listening anymore, an example of this deafness is this interview in the Jordan Peterson thread, http://www.politicalforum.com/index...nvite-rescinded.552864/page-7#post-1070374421
In essence what he says is twisted by the lady doing the interview, in order for her to validate her rejecting his message. She is unable to listen. We need to listen, process and accept/reject based on the message, not on the twisted message created because we are unable to listen when something is outside our comfort zone.

    2. The left use labels to shut down the conversation. I will label you thus turn you into something objectionable thus justify my rejection to what you are saying. Adolf Hitler comments.... he mass murdered 6 million people... are you really comparing Pauline Hanson with Hitler... and is this fair to the victims of the Holocaust... are we minimising their experience.

    3. Doing the morally right thing is not always the right thing to do. For example South Africa, the abolishment of Apartheid doomed the country and millions of people along with it. Sounds crazy... well no not really because black South Africans were disadvantaged for decades, the ANC also burned their schools. Handing the country over to a disadvantaged majority was a recipe for failure. But Apartheid is wrong and it doesn't matter how many millions die or are condemned to poverty and death... right..... wrong. The process should have been stretched out over decades.... of course this is where the leftists enter and yell racist. Which brings me to my point, there is little to no reasoning in the tyrannical behaviour of the left. Back to women's movement again.

    4. #Metoo, there were serious accusations made, valid complaints.... but then there were "he touched my butt #Metoo" which to me is beyond ridiculous when you look at some of the South African women and children that joined the #Metoo movement. Yes children joined this movement, which should really drive home how privileged women in the west really are compared to their sisters in many many other countries. It's time women on the left start fighting for the women outside their borders and stop seeing themselves as victims because by comparison they are doing great.

    5. Trump, slandered smeared, dragged through the mud, convicted in the media and then nothing! I am not a Trump supporter but this is ridiculous and typical of the left.... this is what they do and no just to Trump, whenever they hear a message outside their comfort zone it's smear and slander, don't care if you are guilty, if I say you are guilty then it is so. Social media lynch mob.

    Hi sw,

I am caught in between left and right as much as you are, believe me if a swing could be designed I could swing from Mars to Pluto and back again to mother Earth (meaning left and right).

While I do know, that some on the left are as much self centered as some on the right, I raise fundamental questions:
1 - with our right wingers (Libs/Nat), the environment is not taken into account, never was, never will.
2 - there is no planning ahead in whatshowever except for coal and ore
3 - foreign policy, Jews claiming Israel and our ill alliance with the US, always eager for another one.
I think will fight more wars, and at the same time close the door for refugees.

So, coming to the second one:
You give Pauline H. enough rope, and she will act as Hitler had, first demolishing rights for Asians and Muslims in particular, than whoever is on her list. Not only will she close all doors, but worse. She is a nationalistic racist bitch, which actually shows now in the dealing of her party with the NRA.

    And third Trump,
you as a supporter of women rights shouldn't even ever mention this jerks name. What a disgrace for the US, what a shame for the planet. The guy only acts in self interest, and you are far to clever not to know....

About planning... the government is actually doing very well ito planning, LNG exports have increased although prices have recently "tanked". What I really like is the governments' planning on Hydrogen as future energy for vehicles.

    https://www.csiro.au/en/Do-business/Futures/Reports/Hydrogen-Roadmap

The CSIRO have developed a membrane that can convert decomposed ammonia to hydrogen

    https://www.csiro.au/en/Research/EF/Areas/Low-emissions-technologies/Hydrogen-membrane

I believe this to be a much better option for future energy than electric powered vehicles, as Electric vehicles are dependent on Cobalt currently in short supply. Cobalt is also mined under horrible circumstances in the Congo and similar to oil will become a "bone" to fight over between superpowers, whoever controls the resource controls energy supply. Hydrogen on the other hand is potentially available in abundance from decomposed ammonia thanks to the CSIRO's membrane. Of course this also creates a Ammonia/Hydrogen export market for us to Asia.

Where is this rubbish coming from?

    “The left uses labels”

Can you not see the irony in that statement?

“Pro trump”?? Why?? He is perceptibly worse than Clive Palmer and THAT is saying something

I hate so say the premise of the thread is spot on... I think Hanson should have had her last, but we know there are too many people who think along her lines to let it drop.

I think your point on the SFF, is far more demonstrative of the fact that Rural Australia may well be represented by such ignorance while 90% of the governance is focused on the city...

The examples you are asking for VVVV is in the post you labeled rubbish ^^^^ clearly not paying much attention to what is in there and just reiterating my point that the left is not listening.
