Yet another ironic PROJECTION on your part.

I have provided factual substantiation to prove my position.

Kneejerk denialism does not refute anything that I have posted.

Your own Australian media has noted that the One Nation is a fascist party but you seem to be the ONLY PERSON who does not believe that to be the case.

Strange that NO ONE ELSE has supported your position.

    Why is that?

Haha. Here comes your killing blow, the point at which people have had enough of your logical fallacies and willful deception and say...

Enjoy your day. I have better things to do than argue aimleasly with a brick wall.

Fortunately I will have a clear conscience because I am NOT the one who is voting for the FASCIST One Nation party.

I am not bending anything; you decided to post your hate of Howard into a comment about capitalism which was entirely irrelevant. Since you want to say causation of such an outcome is what it is, it is Not me twisting anything but appears you are squirming now it has come apparent you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Natural rights are a myth. You cannot derive how the world ought to be from how the world is, and the only connection we have to the external world is sense phenomena.

Rights are an inherently subjective question. I disagree that seeking asylum is a right, and on birthright citizenship so does the vast majority of the world - 165 out of 195 countries, to be exact.

This is an Australian thread, so I will speak with reference to Australia:

We have no nearby nations which are totalitarian, possibly Indonesia depending who is in government. If you have not taken the shortest reasonable path to asylum you are picking and choosing - you are an economic migrant.

We will choose who comes here and under what circumstances. If the UN doesn't like that we will withdraw from the Refugee Convention. Period.

That's the declaration of independence, not the constitution.

I would support free immigration when those words were written. There were no generous social safety nets to choose from, if you came to the US and didn't work you died in the streets. In such an environment immigration is definitely desirable.

    Today is a different beast.

there is no immigration clause in our federal Constitution. i would agree with You, if it were expressly declared as a power delegated to Congress.

Legitimately 99% of the **** Congress does is not in Article I S8 lol.

Either way, the 14th amendment enshrines birthright citizenship even if its application today was not the intent. It is the words passed into law that matter.

This is an odd discussion in a thread about a fringe Australian political party being off its rocker. I have enjoyed it though. Kudos.

There is nothing extreme about the positions taken by the aforementioned. They're all perfectly reasonable and entirely pragmatic. The Progressive Left's response to what has always been ordinary politics, is what is extreme.

When your politics become so outstandingly intolerant that opposing views are called 'extreme', you know you've wandered into dangerous territory.

Ironic projection duly noted and ignored for derogatory reasons.

You seem to just be saying things without any consideration for if they make sense.

Irony - the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect.

    Exactly!

When you project your own flaws onto others you entirely MISS the irony from the opposite point of view.

That is what makes it so highly amusing.

So... you're saying it is unexpected in a humerous way that he would project his own flaws? Isn't that a compliment?

You seem to be saying that you wouldn't expect him to do this.

The unintended irony is when you project your own flaws onto others you don't realize that is what you are actually doing.

It is also ironic that it needs to be explained.

And it is even more ironic that even when it is explained those projecting their own flaws still don't get it.

Your misstated position of where you stand consistently fails to align with the extremist rightwing disinformation content of your posts.
