Bullshit. Our country is going down the toilet, due to NOT paying heed to the Framers, then going the Liberal route, claiming our rights come from a piece of paper, and the actions village idiots take, representing the village idiots in their districts.

Read a history book regarding the Framers, and the First Constitutional Convention

When I choose a tribewoman to cut up for the spring harvest in Lithuania I still call her my herb bride though. Pathologic 2 was fun as hell. The livers an dkidneys are good for tincture. The Brain could make a serum, when I complete the harvest lines.

Marriage is an Institution. With a very simple yet strict definition.
It is a union of a Man and a Woman.PERIOD.No If ands and butts.PERIOD.
We had in almost every state a ballot vote to express the voters view
on Keeping Marriage as it is.A far majority of states voted to Keep Marriage
as is.Yet the Left and their power madness was not satisfied. They { Leftists
    and the Democrats } felt they needed a new Identity group { Gay Lobby }
to maintain a grip on power in the voting both and also to control speech.
The Country was a far kinder, gentler and better place to live and maintain
a Family in the 1950's.Gays were not a recognized persecuted group.
Abortion was a huge mortal sin and against the law.
The wild radical 60's changed all that.Sex became open and
skinnydipping was considered artsy.Long hair, loud music and weird
clothes became all the rage.Drugs became fashionable and the left
finally had a way to introduce their demands.More often just to prove
they can.Protest for the sake of something to do.
50 years later and we are reaping the results.

I am not arguing against the Framers and our Constitution.
I am arguing against those on the left who display hourly intolerance
for anything that represents Freedom,Liberty and the American way.
Last I checked money was just a piece of paper. So too is a Birth certificate
and medicare card and deed of property.
So surely a piece of paper is far more relevant than mere leftist
claptrap. Our Constitution represents a roadmap to Life,Liberty and
Happiness. When I mention how the left wants to break this country
I mean ... Our Way of Life. What is clarified in our Constitution.

" Our Constitution is in actual operation; everything
appears to promise that it will last; but nothing in
this world is certain but death and taxes. "
    -- Benjamin Franklin

The rest of that wordsalad is nearly unreadable, due to you apparently not understanding how to work your keyboard.

You mean like Ronald Reagan's " Tear down this wall " Berlin Wall Speech

Or J.F.K.'s immortal ... " My fellow Americans, ask not what your
Country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. "

What did those speeches alone do that scientists, engineers, and technicians didn't?

Well they don't make for good Dead technicians. Doesn't it seem like the Cuban Missile Crisis was the only thing anyone talked about from this period, in the first place?

You included other topics in this post ... Gays as a not a persecuted group and abortion .. next was sex.. then drugs .. might as well throw rock and role in there while you are at it.

All of the things on your list are "essential liberty" - as in the definition liberty in "life, liberty, pursuit of happiness"

You are then arguing that we should not protect essential liberty. I will argue the other side.

This nation was founded on the principle of respect for essential liberty .. that there are certain rights and liberties - some of which are enshrined in the constitution -( it was never meant to be all inclusive) - that are above the legitimate authority of Gov't.

The bar was set at protection from harm - direct harm - one person on another - rape, murder theft .. and so on. The reset is essential liberty as "no man wants to be ruled over by another" - That is the Social Contract we are party to.

You have a different bar - clearly - but, what exactly is that bar ?

2 questions 1) do you want to live in totalitarianism or do you think the power of Gov't should be limited. If you answered dictator - we need go no further.

    2) If you think the power of Gov't should be limited - what then should that power be limited to ? What is the "legitimate authority" of Gov't .. in your opinion. The opinion of the founders is giving above ... straight up Classical Liberalism .. which in the context of this discussion - is the same as Republicanism.

So .. where is your bar ? what is the legitimate authority of Gov't - the question of the Declaration ... principles on which law and the constitution are to be interpreted.

    Wrong on all counts again!

The SCOTUS makes the determination as whether or not legislation is Constitutional.

The SCOTUS can nullify any state law that violates the Federal Constitution.

The SCOTUS has determined that the Federal government does have power over healthcare.

The Founding Fathers wanted a STRONG Federal government because Libertarianism was an ABJECT FAILURE.

Since the air force was NOT ENUMERATED that must mean that it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL, right?

Which holy "word of god" EXPLICITLY STIPULATE these IMAGINARY "god given rights" of yours?

There is none because DICTATORIAL gods don't give anyone any rights.

WE the PEOPLE give OURSELVES our individual rights and We the People UPHOLD our individual rights.

You are NOT "forced" to buy anything.

However the RISKY BEHAVIOR that CAUSES a BURDEN on the rest of the taxpayers will be offset by a tax increase on those who willfully CHOOSE to take RISKS with their health.

Yes it was forced, i guess you were vacationing in space? Or live in another country.
I guess you never heard of the "individual mandate" or the tax penalty ? Or the laughable threat of jail time? You can thank President Trump for disposing of that tyranny.

You forgot this part and did you miss where I called it a "laughable threat"? I see you ignored that the individual mandate, FORCED you to buy a private product or pay a tax penalty. Again, you can thank the President for killing that unconstitutional, REQUIREMENT. You also never answered, what other products are you OK with the Gov. FORCING you to buy?

Q: Could somebody be imprisoned for not purchasing health insurance under the House health care bill?

A: Both House and Senate bills would levy a tax on persons who refuse to obtain coverage. Willfully evading that tax could result in jail time under the bill passed by the House – but not the bill approved by the Senate Finance Committee.

I see you continue to evade my questions and ignore I called it a "laughable threat". What's your point? Obama is long gone and you cant answer my other questions? Good! :applause: Lets see if the 3rd times the charm...go!
