Is he a "counter puncher" or a scared juvenile Cry baby?
I vote the latter, as others have noticed, including his Pulitzer Prize winning biographer.

    Our fragile President
    By Michael D'Antonio

    https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/20/opinions/trump-is-our-fragile-president-dantonio/index.html

The fiction that Donald Trump is a "counter-puncher" is getting a workout as his defenders try to justify the President's attacks on everyone from US Rep. Adam Schiff ("little Adam Schitt") to the special counsel Robert Mueller ("gone absolutely nuts.") The myth holds that Trump is a tough guy who fights back. In fact, he is a fragile man running out of safe places to hide.

Like so much about Trump, the counter-puncher theme is a clever marketing ploy used to obscure obvious flaws. In the past he promoted himself as a business titan to cover the shame of multiple massive bankruptcies. Today, as a politician, he poses as a victim when he's actually a frightened bully. No one is ever on equal footing with the President of the United States, which means that whenever he "punches" anyone, he lowers himself.

Who does Trump fear? He fears the independent counsel, whose investigation of Russia's interference in the 2016 election threatens to expose the inner workings of the campaign and of Trump's opaque business empire. He fears Schiff and other House Democrats he's belittled because they will soon chair powerful committees that will launch their own investigations into Trump's administration and, perhaps, his long-hidden tax returns.

The President's insecurities all seem to revolve around his fear of being unmasked as a Fraud. The tax returns, for example, would allow everyone to compare his claims to great wealth -- in 2015 he said he was worth $10 billion -- with black-and-white reality.

Trump Is Woody Allen Without the Humor
Half his tweets show utter weakness. They are plaintive, shrill little cries, usually just after dawn.

The president’s primary problem as a leader is not that he is impetuous, brash or naive.
It’s not that he is inexperienced, crude, an outsider.
It is that he is Weak and Sniveling.
It is that he undermines himself almost daily by ignoring traditional norms and forms of American masculinity.

He’s Not strong and self-controlled, not cool and tough, not low-key and determined; he’s Whiny, Weepy and Self-pitying. He throws himself, sobbing, on the body politic. He’s a Drama Queen.

It’s all whimpering accusation and finger-pointing: Nobody’s nice to me. Why don’t they appreciate me?

He's always been in charge and now, for the first time he's learning that you can get in trouble when you play with the big boys. He's over his head and is so screwed up that he can't even speak in complete sentences any more.

Trump is a cowardly bully and his avid supporters are of a similar mindset. Trump's rallies lay bare his crude behavior and lying rants to a crowd that applauds them and love him for it. A lot of good people voted for Trump in the hope of leveling the field between the two coasts. Fine, a noble idea and goal. Most of my Trump friends wouldn't go near his hate rallies and many have second thoughts about their vote. They've been hoodwinked by a cheap carnival con man and their pride has been hurt by it. There isn't many openly Trump supporters around here in this Trump country where I live.

Trump is a coward on so many levels. He cows and fawns before the world's ugliest dictators. 'Putin strongly and powerfully denied any Russian interference in our elections.' I liked that "strongly and powerfully" part. This as the language of a naughty little boy that was taken to the woodshed.

'Kim and I fell in love.' "He says nice things about me." How very presidential. Eisenhower, Kennedy, Obama, Bush, and Reagan said that stuff all the time, didn't they? Gee, Don, why haven't you visited our troops in combat zones? Well, we're looking at that. There's a lot of security issues and... blah, blah, blah.

Bush had them drive Air Force One into a red hot combat zone in Iraq so he could help dish our thanksgiving dinner to the troops. Obama was a regular in combat zones and loved to shoot hoops with the troops. They loved it. But then, there's those bone spurs to consider.

Trump knows Mueller is a tough, uncompromising guy with a stellar reputation. More than that, Mueller is a man of highest integrity and honesty. That scares Trump to death. Those are qualities that Trump cannot comprehend nor handle when confronted by them.

Trump hates Obama with every fiber of his being because Obama made light of him during the press dinner. He hates the press for having such a venue where he could be so "ill treated." So......victimized.

Trump is a cowardly, dirty, little man.

Trump is a rare breed that tells you what he thinks. He doesn't talk pretty and act like a fool like most politicians. Trump talks like a fool and acts like a fool -- just like most honest patriotic citizens would do if they became president. Trump is one of the most comfortable adults you will ever see. He's much more popular than the MSM would have you believe. And he's the best thing for the United States in a long time. Lets let him live in the White House for 8 years. He is setting a high bar for the next president.

A very high bar for lowlifery. No ethics, no morals, lies and smears, embarassing ignorance and blatant self aggrandizement. Yep you'll have to reach pretty damn deep in the cesspool to find somebody who can match those lofty heights.

You need something larger than this forum for your purpose, like a Degelman or Brochard in the top line machines. These are the worlds biggest manure spreaders, and with all you seem to have on hand, that's what you should use.

I find it just a tad ironic that you are the one that possesses the knowledge of size, brand and comparative quality of the manure spreading equipment marketplace.

    A rather interesting observation.

    Gotta be a RW thing?

Nothing personal toward the RW, strictly a rhetorical question.

'Unhinged' Trump, orange jumpsuits and stolen documents: The most explosive revelations from Bob Woodward book
Account paints picture of deeply dysfunctional White House in which exasperated aides try to limit president's danger to national security
    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/fear-trump-in-the-white-house-bob-woodward-sessions-mattis-assad-cohn-kelly-us-president-a8523396.htm
    Chris Baynes
    • Wednesday 5 September 2018

Here are seven key claims made in the book, published on 11 September.

    [.......]
Lawyer was convinced the president would commit Perjury if he spoke to Russia probe leader Robert Mueller

Mr Trump’s former personal lawyer John Dowd is said to have told the president that he would probably end up in Prison if he testified to special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

To illustrate his point he reportedly staged a practice interrogation with the president, who responded to questions with “Stumbles, Contradictions and Lies” before losing his cool.

    “Don’t testify,”
Mr Dowd allegedly told him. “It’s either that or an Orange Jumpsuit.”
    [......]

Mattis said Trump acted like ‘a fifth or sixth-grader’

Some of the president’s closest advisers are depicted in the book as being exasperated by his Ignorance about key issues.
During a National Security Council meeting, Mr Trump is said to have asked why the US was spending resources on maintaining a military presence in the Korean peninsula.
“We’re doing this in order to prevent World War III,” his defence secretary told him.

Mr Woodward recounts: “Mattis was particularly exasperated and Alarmed, telling close associates that the president acted like – and had the understanding of – ‘a fifth or sixth-grader’. ”

Good people voted for Trump to get a fairer shake from government. Fair pay, fair treatment, a little respect. All good. What is morphed into is tragic. Trump’s avid followers now believe:
    1. It’s okay - to be divorced twice and have affairs while married.
    2. to brag about grabbing a woman’s private parts.
    3. to lie to the people every day.
    4. to cozy up to some of the world’s worst dictators.
    5. to shower your pals with money and ignore the folks that voted for you.
    6. to trash the intelligence agencies to placate dictators.
    7. to use Stalin’s words and call a free press “enemies of the people.”
    8. to do whatever he wants regardless of the law.
    9. to tweet childish insults and name calling on a daily basis.
    10. to make a buck from being president.
    11. to make Trump and FOX the sole source of “news.”
    12. to create trillion dollar deficits.
    13. to engage in shameless self aggrandizement.
    It’s all okay because…..?
