As far as I'm concerned, they can send this 'drama queen' back to Florida or where ever these 'kneelers' want to get attention. He was the only one to do this 'kneel' thing, but two other Rockies, Hamson and Hoffman were 'touching his shoulders' (whatever the hell THAT's supposed to mean). The Rockies' front-office needs to give Kemp a ticket OUT of Denver ASAP, along with warnings to the other two. We don't NEED that BLM knee-walking crap here in Colorado! Reminder: there were two conspicuous 'drama-queen' BLM-sympathizers on the Denver Broncos NFL team -- Demaryius Thomas and Brandon Marshall, and they're both GONE now.... (...and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out....)

In a broader sense, though, all of these stooges in professional sports have bowed down to the hyperliberal agenda-driven BLM clowns lately. The baseball teams, the basketball teams (of course!), and even the NHL HOCKEY TEAMS paid homage to the concept of honoring negro thugs and criminals who had a 'bad experience' while resisting arrest or evading capture! The one team left that I thought could never be a part of this kind of disgraceful nonsense was my Colorado Avalanche NHL team -- but even they knuckled-under to the criminal creeps, just like all the other teams. So, to hell with ALL of them. In the America where I grew up, we honored the memories of genuine heroes -- not rap-sheet idiots who were resisting arrest, fighting the police, and breaking laws, including committing a FEDERAL crime (George Floyd... passing counterfeit money). Anyway, welcome aboard... and get ready for protracted 'trench-warfare' between Left and Right. There aren't very many left in the 'middle' any more... kind of like the rest of the country....

You make a very good point about the hypocrisy of in-your-face SJW groups like MeToo -- and an excellent example is how utterly stone, cold SILENT they were about Tara Reade's charge that Joe Biden penetrated her with his fingers under her skirt when she brought him a gym bag in spring 1993. At the time, she was a staff assistant in his office on Capitol Hill. If any Republican had done that, the hyperliberal Left would be screaming its head off and demanding justice for the victim! And Jacob Blake? The police were attempting to arrest him for violating a restraining order stemming from an alleged sexual assault, and there was already an open warrant for felony sexual assault. Definitely someone who is very eligible to be a BLM and ANTIFA "hero" and/or "martyr"....
The NHL, NBA and NFL are going to find out that "kneeling" to BLM and Antifa is going to backfire. I don't know about the rest of MLB but the Braves did it once (that I know of) and that was it. We fans watch sports to get away from politics, you bring it to the game then I am turning it off. Everything the liberals touch turns to crap.

Nobody really gives a sh!t what their individual, personal 'philosophies' are about. Most are being paid MILLIONS of dollars to entertain us, the working-class taxpayer schlubs, and if they want to make blathering-ass spectacles out of themselves by kneeling down, or raising a fist in support of criminals resisting lawful arrest, they can all go to hell as far as I'm concerned....

I wrote the post you referenced back on July 25th.... The Rockies are long-since 'washed-up' this miserable season.... But anywhere, and at any time that any these clowns do this "kneeling" thing, it makes me want to puke -- and never watch them again!
I was watching the news Monday. A softball game was being played in Vienna, Virginia. It was a series of games that were postponed from earlier this year. The home team decided not to play the anthem as to not offend anyone. So everyone in the stands sang it and the home and away team came out and stood with their caps off as the crowd sang.
