In my part of Nova Scotia the difference between low tide to high tide is only about one meter. Along parts of the Bay of Fundy the difference is more than fifteen meters so....... 30 cms x 15 = 450 cms or 4.5 meters. ONE nation on earth has experienced COOLING in its climate since 1950. That nation was Israel. On a per capita basis Israel led the world in a combination of planting trees and in large scale desalination of ocean water for agriculture, reforestation projects as well as for cities and towns experiencing a shortage of water. IF.... large scale desalination of ocean water was financed for the nation of Jordan, that was combined with a plan that would greatly increase the economic cooperation between Jordan and Israel........ and if Jordan also began to experience cooling in their climate as well then we would know that the theory put forward by New Mexico biologist Carl Cantrell must be valid. Yes, a vegetationed surface combats global warming. It has been unsuccessfully applied. Attempts along the southern Sahara have not worked, the desert just came in anyways. If Carl Cantrell's theory is true...... large scale desalination of ocean water to turn deserts green all over the Middle East and North Africa might actually be the only effective way to initiate actual COOLING of the climate within a decade.
