PAlESHTINIAN HAMAS PAID FAMILY TO SAY IDF KILLED 8-MONTHS-OLD BABY WITH TEAR GAS

Hamas Chief Yehia Sinwar payed the al-Ghandour family to say that their 8-months-old baby Leila died of gas inhalation from tear gas used by the IDF during the recent violent protests along the Gaza border, the testimony in an indictment document of their relative Mahmoud Omar revealed on Thursday.
According to the document which was filed by the southern district prosecution to the Beersheba District Court, Omar heard of his cousin Leila's death when he was attending the protests near to the fence.
When he arrived home, he learnt that the baby died of a blood disease - which was similar to the disease his brother died of in 2017, according to his testimony.
"Later the accused [Omer] learnt that his aunt Mariam and her husband Anwar told the media that Leila died of inhaling tear gas that was shot by the IDF during the protest near the fence - a thing that is not true..." the document explains further. "Hamas senior official Yehia Sinwar payed them to claim that Leila died while inhaling tear gas during the riots."
Omar himself was indicted of taking part in terrorist activities, including training with mujahedin forces, jihadi operatives, and trying to infiltrate Israel.
The prosecution asked to extend his remand until the end of his legal procedures.

It's just Israel doing her usual. They had arrested the man who said this. They arrested 14 year old Mohammed Tamami when he was still very vulnerable having had half of his skull removed after being shot at close range by an Israeli with a rubber bullet with a steal insert. They arrested him and he told them what they wanted him to say which was that he had not been shot at all and had made this up after he fell off his bike. The IDF were telling the Israeli public this was the truth regardless of the reality that there are CT scans of the rubber bullet with a steel insert in his brain.

Must be the IDF did not like it getting around that babies die of tear gas so they arrested a relative, a little bit of torture and they get the story they want. I no longer trust a word that comes from the IDF.

Palestinian Baby Did Not Die From Gaza Border Clashes, Family Paid by Hamas to Lie

JNS.org – A cousin of the 8-month-old baby, Laila al-Ghandour, whose Palestinian parents claim died of tear-gas inhalation during the Gaza border clashes last month, said that the family had been paid to lie about the circumstances of the infant’s death by Hamas.

Mahmoud Omar, 20, who was indicted in Beersheva District Court for a number of security-related offenses tied his involvement in the Gaza “March of Return” border protests, admitted that his cousin had actually died of a hereditary blood disease that her brother had also apparently died from a year earlier, according to Hadashot news.

Omar later learned that his aunt and uncle had falsely told the media that Laila had died as a result of tear-gas inhalation.

He testified that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar paid the family NIS 8,000 ($2,200) to blame the Israel Defense Forces for the baby’s death.

About two weeks later, the Health Ministry removed Layla al-Ghandour's name from a list of the names of those killed in border clashes with Israeli forces. Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said the child's death was being investigated by the Palestinian Justice Ministry."

and unfortunately the IDF has a history of this. The moment I saw that the relative who had said this had said it when arrested, the truth was obvious.
