Well the problem for the P's is that they chickened and ran leaving the country wide open to the I's when the I's beat the Jordanians and took over Jerusalem in 1948.

Where were they? The land partitioned to the establishment of a Jewish State in Palestine by a 2/3rds vote of the General Assembly, was barely a sliver of land much of which was held by Jewish deed holders hoping for a "Jewish homeland" since the Ottoman days. Where the videos of those on that land or other lands where they were displaced because the armies of Egypt, Transjordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, etc. decided to annihilate the Jewish State. No peace. Annihilate. And what of that land granted as an Arab state in Palestine. Gaza administered by Egypt and the West Bank by Jordan. For decades they denied "Palestinians" their turf and no body noticed. For decades they maintained refugee, tent cities . . . . Do tell.
