Fewer and fewer people care what this whiny-ass bitch Trump says anymore. He has no judgment, no credibility, no dignity. Kim Kardashian has more Twitter followers than Trump, people probably take her more seriously, too.

No he made the statement during the 4th quarter.

Q3 has 3 games. Q4 will have 13 games. Q3 is not an indicator of how their sales are for the season. The 8 games since is a better indicator. You know, more games, more info.

    Tell me, what’s a better indicator, 3 or 13?

Companies like this see their sales week by week. They have them broken down to the hour. They can check and see how today compares to the same day last year.

Your question can be answered at the end of Q4.

And they didn’t pull their ads that I’ve seen. They did remove the NFL logo in the ads. I watch every Sunday and still see the ads.

Companies which sell things should stay clear of politics. When a company enters the fray, whichever side they take will get the other side peeved. It's a no win situation.

There is truth to your statement, but it applies to the general population and their dumbing down overall. Most people don’t vote at all, an overwhelming amount couldn’t name the VP of the current or past administration, couldn’t name the first president, etc.

The Kardashian effect is real, and we are surrounded by imbeciles in public places on a daily basis.

I understand that you have a case of TDS though and must remain angry 24/7 so have at it.

Yes. They are wearing the uniform and their actions speak louder than words. As an employer, I am familiar with what is protected and what is not. There is no shortage of media coverage for these players and they could get their message out any time they wanted to. They chose the National Anthem.

In doing so, they have used exposure they did not pay for to deliver a message that is not only disrespectful to those who served, but to all those who suffered from police brutality, but were not black. My family will no longer be allowing our funds to end up in their ungrateful hands.

I did notice the respect they had for the Mexican National Anthem!

Yes, their actions speak so loudly that you and Donald and many others frightened by the idea of bringing social justice are almost apoplectic. My sympathies, but life goes on.

To paraphrase Orwell, in a time of universal deception (and BS), offering silent dissent is a radical act.

Funny... so now Papa John has gotten down on his knees to the "knee-walker" BLM stooges? Fine! As far as I'm concerned, Papa John is OFF my menu.

I haven't watched an NFL game since the last Superbowl, but man I sure saw a great Colorado Avalanche NHL game yesterday in which my Av's beat a very good Detroit Red Wings team in overtime! Next, the Av's will be playing the Dallas Stars at the Pepsi Center in Denver. I'll be watching on TV and eating a take-home pizza I get at PAPA MURPHY'S! :hungry:

Papa Murphy's is definitely the best take-and-bake pizza I've ever tasted. And as far as this nauseating little dance with the NFL's BLM propaganda artists is concerned, Papa John stepped in sh*t and then 'tracked it all over his own house'!

Too bad, Papa John... lips that kiss BLM ass will never kiss mine -- or sell anything that I'm going to pay money for!

In other words...they folded and are now groveling. I have no respect for them at this point and will never eat their pizza just for that fact. Knee kneelers can kiss my behind. Papa Johns can kiss it for not standing firm and buckling instead.

When are companies and celebs in Hollyweird ever going to learn to hush their mouths and not get involved in politics??

I am not a fan of Trump. Keep your sympathy for those who want it. This is a win, win, win in my book.

People are talking about the abuse of power by law enforcement. Win!

People are demanding respect for our veterans. Win!

People are opposing tax payer subsidies to the NFL. Win!

You like football, so keep watching it.

    Speaking of Orwell,

Perhaps that is why GQ magazine named Colin Kaepernick as man of the year.....

You know better than that. They need publicity and are just trying to stay in business. It could backfire.

There's nothing better than NJ/NY pizza and lasagna. You could go to every pizza joint and all the pizza will taste different and all will be the best to be found anywhere. I have zero clue as to how Papa John's, Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc manage to stay in business in that area. The only place I've been to that had similar pizza was in Vegas at a place called Broadway Pizza on Rancho Rd. California, Texas and New Mexico, the last few places I've lived, are clueless when it comes to pizza. And I've seen pictures of what they classify as pizza in Chicago, sorry that ain't pizza. Pizza has to droop if it's not folded and it has to drip.

    This is real pizza:

They have every right to protest anything........on their own time. They have NO right to protest anything while on the company clock, it's in their contract that they signed........

F 'em fire them all. There are plenty of capable College kids that would gladly take their places.

No, I do not know better than that because I do not work at GQ and am not privy in any way as to their corporate or editorial reasoning. And neither do you, and we both know that.

You and The Donald, 2 peas in a pod. The NFL better get with the program and fire them all, just to suit you and Donald. LOL

I will let you in on a little secret. The main objective of any business entity is to make profit. Every action is for that purpose. Don't tell anyone; it's a secret!

Let me get this straight, you sign a contract with a contractor to replace your roof. You don't like the way it's turning out so you take it up with the boss. He promptly puts a sign in front of your house and on his trucks that you're a jerk while he finishes the job. What do you do?

A better analogy would be, you hire a contractor and then try to deny his right to use the toilet. When he complains, you call him names.

And then you make really stupid comparisons that have nothing to do with anything.
