How does a person stay out of it, engaging in conversation about it?

Back to the arrogance thingy and circular argument to boot. Mind ones own business on a political forum? Guns, Religion, Abortion can apply to this notion of minding ones own business but yet I see you expressing your leanings.

How should we go from here?

Ahh, I see. So when your "mistake" is pointed out...it goes back to why do I care...rather than acknowledge the difference.

That does acknowledge it anyway. Your hostile response shows to me that you intentionally tried to cloud the issue even knowing better before you posted your response.

It's my business because I am part of society. I do have children in school, as such if we as a society are going to allow a Boy to pretend he's a Girl...theres a good chance he may end up in my daughters locker room.

Sorry, if you have a Penis...you're a Boy, it's not open to interperetation or feelings. As a member of this society I draw the line at that nonsense.

You do "know", it doesn't matter what you know, but how you act on it. That's what's important.

    1. It is "true" that it exists in the mind, the fact that I have an opinion doesn't make the opinion true, it just means I have an opinion. It doesn't matter what the truth is, because I think the truth is something different. Have you ever been late before because you got the times mixed up? It's the exact same concept. You thought it was at a different time, you're acting on that idea.
    2. No I'm not. I'm not contradicting anyone.

Are you aware that everything psychological has a biological background? So you don't need to see the biological reason behind it, because you know it's already there. It's like using the symptoms of a disease to figure out what the disease is. It's working backwards. So if someone said they wanted to be a woman, there are already biological things at work.

Do you think that a 5 year old can dress himself? Maybe with some struggles, but it can be done. Mental capacity and how the brain develops is different for everyone, but there are some similarities. For example, children can find their gender identity as children,
    http://www.healthychildren.org/Engl...dentity-and-Gender-Confusion-In-Children.aspx

but sexual orientation (Like what you mentioned) takes awhile.

You're right. Opinions are perceptions, but an opinion is never wrong. The reason why we argue over opinions is because we're introducing them as facts. That's why we think they're right or wrong. Facts themselves don't change, but what does change is our perception of them as new facts come in. So far all intents and purposes, facts do change.

But he is not a she... just a fact. He can feel like a girl all he wants and that is fine but on his first date with a boy/man things will be cleared up really quick.

so you link to life site news to use an article that contains not a single link to the studies done to provide evidence for the opinion piece of the Dr. and you expect that to be treated as scientific proof :roflol: .. Tell you what you go and find the peer reviewed evidence to support a single thing in that opinion piece and maybe, just maybe you will have a point, until then you don't.

What you focus on is not relevant to the actual scientific facts that your brain can be changed due to higher or lower levels of hormones during it's fetal development, so this "feelings" thing you cling so desperately to are hard wired into the brain and the resulting born person has absolutely no choice about it.

I understand that this is a necessary thing for you to do as anything else just blows your ideology out of the water.

    Also perhaps you would care to answer the questions you ignored;

Questions : What gender do they put on a BC when the child is born as a hermaphrodite?
Why is gender alignment not done on a hermaphrodite until they are at the age that mental gender becomes apparent?

after all if it's based purely on the physical gender and no person can change gender as you assert then a hermaphrodite MUST be both male and female and can NEVER change that .. and that is plainly absurd.

Furthermore which little box to the doctors tick when a child is born with external genitals that cannot be easily classified as male or female?

Sorry, I don't need any further proof than the Birth Certificate. That is peer reviewed fact...versus your fantasy.

Hormones and feelings in the brain.....do not counter the fact that again...the birth cert shows the defined gender. it's not a guess, it's fact. Hormones and feelings dont change this.

    I doubt it.

When you have confusion over the easiest of knowns/facts, like a birth gender....you really dont understand anything.

    Irrelevant to this story.

    irrelevant to this story.

Painfully obvious you cannot debate this story if you are jumping around to hypothetical situations.

No, that is a special circumstance...a birth defect if you will. In that case, I would fully support them choosing what feels right for them. Afterall, they had both...and you cant be both...so you HAVE to choose one, and try and make it work.

However, once again...ths entire line of yours is irrelevant to this story. This little boy was born a boy.

More hypothetical questions which do not pertain to this boy and story. You shouldnt have Necro'd this one, because it seems in the time you let it pass....you havent figured out a better argument than what you had before, and had to raise this to inject inapplicable hypotheticals.

    Thanks for the laugh.

As expected you won't entertain anything that would question your engrained bigoted notions .. not even scientific evidence, says a lot about your motivation which is plain to see for what it is.

As expected, you ignore the facts in this story and try to launch an irrelevant bnch of questions about hermaphrodites to try and smokescreen the discussion.

The little boy in this story was not a Hermaphrodite, and there was 0 ambiguity from the certified professional who stamped "boy/male" on his peer reviewed documentation...the Birth certificate.

You should have let this one stay buried. It's like waiting for a wound to almost heal, and then tearing it open and pouring salt in it.

This little Boy is not a Girl, no matter what the school..or people like you...claim through your ignorance.

Laughable you saying something about ignoring the facts when that is all you have done through out the topic.

Sp please show me anywhere I say he was, do you even understand what a question is?

You mean a topic you hoped had been forgotten as it raises your own ingrained bigoted notions.

The only ignorance here is being portrayed by you, who thinks a piece of paper is what designates your gender :roflol: and simply ignores anything you don't want to see .. very much like the ostrich with it's head in the sand.

hahah...yeah. A piece of paper designates gender. This magical paper spits out of the birth canal right before the baby so you know what to expect next LOL.

Nice try at totally ignoring what a Birth Cert is...who fills one out (hint...it's a Medically certified professional. Someone who knows this science, and has societies endorsement of his ability)....and the legal certifiability of what it contains.

I did you a solid by letting this one stay buried, but by all means...if you wish to look stupid today, then you're off to a great start.

LOL....you have no legitimate leg to stand on in regards to speaking of "reality". The "reality" is that a Doctor doesnt make mistakes on a Birth certificate. If he/she signs "boy/girl", thats what the newborn is.

You seem to think there is more to take under consideration...but nothing is going to change that physical makeup. Sorry, born a boy...you are a boy, whether your "inner self" wants to be something else or not.

Like I said, if you got up this morning saying "I want to look like a fool"...you are off to a great start.

Let me be the first to tell you that being a recognized condition in no way vlidates anything you and the other crosddresser want to tell yourselves. Multiple personality is a recognized condition too, however we dont humor every one of thier identities with licenses and such.

No more of this discrimination of gender determination by doctors !

Pretty soon, the libs will require doctors to write "TBD" on the gender line of birth certs.
