#1 It doesn't matter how much spittle you slung at kaepernick, or how much you did to cancel him. It doesn't even matter if you were consisteant in your outrage and screamed at trump for disrespecting the flag, or anyone who displayed the 'blue lives matter' flag for disrespecting the U.S. flag. Or, even if you screamed at the people insulting the flag by improperly displaying it on their truck, or wall, or a t-shirt.All of those things are just superficial virtue signaling. They don't really mean anything.

#2 There is no America without democracy. Everything that is good about America came from giving people a voice. The one thing that made America different, the thing that made America America was democracy. If you don't want democracy, you don't want America.

#3 The trump administration did everything it could, abused it's power in every way possible to end democracy in America. Had they succeeded, that would have been the end of America. Like most things trump, the violent attempt to end America was incredibly incompetant and stupid to the point that it's easy to brush it off. But it was a very real attempt to overthrow the United States, it was just very very stupid. On top of that, the administration went to the courts over 60 times with litterally nothing, and simply expected them to just end America for him. Since then, there has been nothing else from him. He has no ideas, no platform, nothing he wants to do other than end America. You cannot be an American and support trump.

#4 The republican party has no platform and doesn't stand for anything other than ending America. Everything that anyone could pretend it stands for is embodied by liz cheney or justin amash, or any of the republicans that have been run out of the party. The reason they have been run out of the party is because they actually cared about their country on some level. That is not acceptable in the current republican party. You have to be loyal to trump and that means you cann't be loyal to the United States. As stupid and rediculus as all of those attempts to end America were, pleny of republican institutions want to do it. In fact, the party has been working hard to remove all of the people who wanted America to continue. The next time, America may not survive. You cannot be an American and a republican.

The folks who wave the flag the most seem to mean it the least. Nevermind patriotic, it is impossible to even be a loyal American and a republican. Maybe someday there will be an option for a conservative America, but right now, you can be American, or you can be republican, you can't be both

Any idiot can also see that the right did literally everything they could to end democracy, and continue to do so. There is no judgement, you are either American, or on the right. The two are unarguably mutually exclusive.

They have never had such a platform in any way, there isn't even a bad argument that this makes sense. The right did nothing to end democracy. It is absurd to claim that folks protesting an election result represents the end of democracy.
The reverse is true .. in a functional democracy process people have the right to protest.

If you tell me that you shot a girl between the eyes who looked at you funny, I know you are a murderer. Without knowing anything about you, I know that you are a murderer. We watched the republican party aim very carefully and pull the trigger. They only grazed her, but since then have been doing absolutely nothing but reloading. If you support the republican party, nobody has to know anything else to know you aren't really American. Technically, sure, you are american like john walker lindh, or the rosenbergs, but you aren't American. You don't love your country, and you helping to throw it away.

 

You couldn't name a single thing more they could have done as an organization. Protesting is one thing, but that wasn't a protest, that was a violent attempt to END elections. It was just as violently stupid and incompetent as everything else that party did. They went to court 60 times and didn't even have a shred of evidence asking them to simply end elections. They pushed secretaries of state to falsify ballot counts (ie END elections). At this very moment, they are doing everything they can to END elections next time.

However, the problem is that the voters on the right don't have any actual patriotism. It's all on t-shirts and songs on the radio, but that's all just cosplay, it's like makeup and high-heels, and they think that makes up for the real lack in them. That makes it so they can watch an entire party try to end America in every way they possibly can, and just say 'oh it was just a protest, sheesh, what's the big deal?' But, to an American, it is a huge deal. To an American, and especially a patriot, that is a 5 alarm fire. Not to you guys, no, you guys just ride on the coattails of actual Americans. But to actual Americans, ending this country matters.
