What is it with you fellas? I don't care about your 'whataboutisms.' You do know that Trump won in 2016 and he is POTUS. He is all I focus on. If you have something on Obama, go for it......but leave it out of this Thread which is about Trump engaging a fraudulent God Botherer. (And yes, I am aware of your signature.)

This is great. Perfect spiritual advisor for someone like Trump. Dates married men, multiple divorces, and even Christians shun her.

If she is on TV it makes perfect sense. I doubt there are many who'd actually be good in that role who'd be willing to do it for him unless there was some serious change of behavior on his part.

    Wow. I hadn't heard this.

About her being given an "Official Title".

Trump must really have a GUILTY Conscience?

Trump actually has a "Spiritual Adviser"?

That is hard to believe, in the context of Trump's Daily Ritual of Crapping on the Constitution and DISGRACING America.

I wonder how much "influence" that she really has?

Of course, the rumor has been out there (for ages) that her and are sleeping together.

^Old News, I know. But, what the heck.

White is a controversial pick for that position. She and the "prosperity gospel" she preaches have been panned as heretical by many evangelical and orthodox Christians.

White's appointment also raised ethical questions. Her hire came just as she was promoting her latest book and in recent interviews about her new White House position, White has also plugged her book and its references to her relationship with Trump.

^So, that is Trump's idea of "draining the swamp"?:smh:

Just pointing out LW double standards, they defended Obama's racist pastor Rev. Wright, the guy who was buddies with the racist creep Rev. Farrakhan.

"I want you to hear from God. God already spoke to me what I'm going to write out. You're going to write your checks to Paula White Ministries," White preached. "If God tells you to give $12.99, do it. Whatever the Holy Spirit speaks to you. If you need to give by credit card, do so."
White regularly urges those in her pews to donate to her ministry, promising that God will bless them with wealth and "visions" in return. She sometimes warns her followers that their "dream will die" if they don't.

This is why people think the religiously afflicted are insane.

It has gone from worship of a potential higher power to give me free untaxed money and all your dreams will come true.

And the insanity is wrapping its tentacles around the neck of American politics.

This should be taxed to death if not outright banned.

I think progressive folks are conflicted by the competition to their message that "without your tax dollars"... the dream dies... Not much sunlight between those two if you ask me. So liberals are "offended" by religious folks who are using their schtick better than they are... Laughable.

Who the **** cares? He's pandering to get more votes from the extremely religious folks. So what? It's not like he follows her advice anyway. I'm pretty sure she didn't advise him to bang a porn star.
Please tell me how a pandering politician is news?
Is everything trump does BREAKING news to you folks?

What do you believe would happen to our nation if no tax dollars were collected?

Interesting question. The governments have always collected them in some manner. Which of course changed when the personal income tax was levied. Since then progressives have used the "unless we tax you more, our dream dies" cr&p ever since. Watch democratic presidential candidates to watch this in real time these days.

The original observation still stands. Progressives are "offended" that others get to use their schtick. It's the very same method they employ. Can you imaging how effective it would be should say Liz Fauxcahantus Warren were to splash on oodles of blue eye shadow and fake lashes and start bawling on TV to fund her communistic take over (Nationalization) of health care? How epic would that be?

Trump also had the leader of Qanon in the White House, the man is off his rocker. !!!!
I can see why Tillerson and Kelly tried to work around him.

    https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump...theory-that-says-democrats-run-pedophile-cult
On Thursday, President Donald Trump posed for an Oval Office photo with one of the leading promoters of the QAnon conspiracy theory, which claims that top Democrats are part of a global pedophile cult.

Billy Graham met with Truman often way back in the day - and that's just the one I can remember, I'm quite certain stuff like this was going on well before that. I'll bet someone can dig up a story about Washington calling in a spritual advisor to help him out.

I'm not certain this qualifies as a "whataboutism" so much as a "same at it ever was-ism."

Yeah Graham was spiritual advisor to multiple presidents. Every president in modern history has had at least one spiritual advisor but since Trump is doing it then it is bad by default.

I love it. Collusion, obstruct, impeach 45 from day one and now complain that "the crap that politics in the US has descended to?"

The pot had a similar conversation with the kettle!

lol! It's not "whataboutism" when it's comparing the last admins racist and Jew-hating picks, vs. the current pick.

The point is you should be happy, it's a step up from the racist jew-haters Obama had!

    Rejoice!

Perhaps not, because you are Australian, but your thinking (as indicated by your posts) is in line with what would be left wing / liberal / progressive in America.

So, I have unearthed another mind-reader into my 'thinking.' Nah. I am stridently anti-Donald Trump the person, or as I have described him, the grub of a human being.
