I'm a PC gamer. First got into PC gaming in 2000. My first game was Nascar Heat. I thought it looked so much better than what I had been playing prior, which was Gran Turismo and Ridge Racer on the original PlayStation.

My 2nd game was No One Lives Forever and after that I was hooked on PC gaming.

My current favorites are Dragonball FighterZ, Dead Rising 2, Saint's Row the third and Shift 2 Unleashed.

    WTF is up with Pong.

I recently tried it and its so stupid but My God, I can't stop watching that ball go back and forth.

    Super addictive.

    Its stupid.

    lol

You start out super confident just spinning that dial back and forth knowing you will hit the ball then a minute later your forehead is covered in sweat!

Been a PC gamer and a Timex-Sinclair gamer before that. Racing since Grand Price Legends and original NASCAR games. Now Oculus Rift VR with a Fanatec Club Sport wheel/pedals/shifter. If you haven't race with VR go out and get a headset. You'll never go back. Project Cars is amazing simply amazing.

Saints Row 4 is not as good as 3 but if you can get it cheap, do so as there is plenty of messing around you can do with super powers. I got Johnny Gatt in Hell for PS4 for free with PS+. Duller looking than 3 or 4 but some fun to be had there too.

I used to play Artillery on the Apple IIE in middle school, and I wrote choose-your-own-adventure BASIC games when I was a freshman in high school.

Nowadays, I play Civilization, most of the time.

I used to be a gamer but at some point in my middle fifties the urge to play just vanished. When I played I was into first person shooters. Wolfenstein 3d and Call of Duty held my interest.

Civilization 3 is still one of my favorite games of all time. It's pretty fun and actually quite educational.

I remember when I was in grade school, the game Oregon Trail was used as an educational tool. I've always felt that Civilization 3 should be used as an educational tool as well.

I have logged a total of 16 minutes in that game.

    It was that bad.

Unreal for a Fallout Game. Just don't mess up and you can print money making that game. Very sad.
My worst AAA game that I got, cuz, what the heck, it was cheap, is Mass Effect Andromeda Deluxe. So far, it isn't awful. Just not as good as 2 and 3 and I'm asking myself, why play this when I haven't finished G-d of War 4 yet? 1st World Problems :)

Lately, it's Skyrim with enough mods to make it a very different game. My character is a necromancer thanks to the Corpse Preparation - True Necromancy mod and is not the Dragonborn nor had to start out in Helgen thanks to the Skyrim Unbound mod, and I have various realism and difficulty-enhancing mods as well, such as Frostfall, Complete Crafting Overhaul, Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul, a realistic carry capacity mod, a realistic item weight mod and a couple of bag mods that all complement one another beautifully, and one of my all-time favorites, "First Person," a mod that makes the first-person view perfectly match the third-person look of the character, including allowing you to see your character's body and shadow in first-person view. Among many others! It makes the game a hell of a lot of fun and very challenging just to dink around in, and I like just dinking around in that kind of game.

I didn't even like the game until I started modding it. After that? Among my all time favorites.

And now as an update, I haven't been playing many games; my only game lately has been Warlards Battlecry 3 in Russian, running on an Windows XP virtual machine.

I've been tinkering with old Macs again, though. Got a recently purchased Power Mac 7300/200 fixed up with Mac OS 7.6.1 and a bunch of games and apps, and got my original bondi blue iMac out and cleaned up and replaced its dead cmos battery. Before that, I was getting a G5 outfitted with LED cooling fans. Since the whole front of the case is full of holes, they are very visible in there and look quite nice. I did 4 in all - 2 92 mm blue fans, 1 80 mm purple above them, and 1 80 mm white above that (there are three distinct cooling zones by design). The white fan is set back behind the optical drive, so it is a lot less visible.

Yeah its time for me to upgrade my rig but I just take it to Best Buy and let them do it.

Just waiting for the price to drop on the new video cards. My computer was top of the line a couple of years ago but now the new games are testing it.

It's funny - I'm not even aiming for a modern gaming rig now. I've sold my big GPU and even my Ryzen 5 CPU, and am just running a Ryzen 3 with built-in Vega graphics. That's because this thing is first and foremost my work system, so I want it to run efficiently. It still does a good job on 3D games, though. Those truck simulator games run decently on it.

I almost forgot I'd replayed the Warcraft III campaign recently as well on that G5, and have started on the Frozen Throne expansion. Just haven't touched it in several days, so it didn't really occur to me. Games just don't hold my attention very long these days. Maybe if I didn't have such a relaxed home and work life, I'd feel more compelled to get lost in a game?

Yes, even professional musicians consider it a masterpiece of work.

I play 2 games regularly and really like them - Sea of Thieves and Monster Energy Supercross 2. I was playing Red Dead 2 but it got old pretty quick. Loved the SP but MP through the beta got old and the latest stuff just didn't bring me back.

Quake was the best video game ever made.
    I played that a lot.
    I also played
    The combat simulators from Jane's.

Now i just play a few games on War Thunder every week. I still suck.
