Nancy Pelosi is in my local area. Man o man is she ever rich. Notice you do not hear how rich she is. When a person pontificates, if they deride the rich, see if they are rich .... middle class or poor. Nancy has never been poor. She rakes in enormous cash per year including her benefits. Question is, is she the person to loathe the rich and favor the poor? Any ideas?

Seems like just a quick shortcut out of a tense situation. I think what she is saying is that her personal wealth is irrelevant to the cause she is after, that being tax increases which will bring the impoverished of this country on par with the more fortunate (and doing this will bring down the most fortunate, many will argue).

I can't say I agree with her though. It's always important to acknowledge the separation from realities one may have from the people they're trying to help. Politicians gonna politick.

Of course her personal wealth is irrelevant. I do not begrudge anyone who has made a fortune even if it is through backroom deals thanks to their govt position. The leftist voters keep electing her so they must be OK with it.

The issue is whether or not $1,000- $2,500 more per year in the pockets of everyday folks is a good thing. Since Democrats claim, despite facts actually to the contrary, that they are for the every-man, the tax reform puts them in a very awkward position. All they have left is to bash Trump simply because he defeated Hillary and Democrats are mad at the voters.

All of this talk about her wealth and taxes ignores 1 simple point. Pelosi's wealth or tax rate have zero impact on any ones ability to amass their own wealth. Its nothing but wealth envy and hatred for those that won the parent or marriage lottery.

Pelosi sucks and all, but she actually said something that's correct here, regardless of who is saying it.

She did it in a state where she has no jurisdiction, Texas. How she can get a venue there, I do not know. She has no right speaking to Texans.

However, she wasn't. She was talking to illegals using Texas and the USA. She is not a patriot of the USA, but of Mexico.

    Clinton helped her.

Pelosi was rallying them to tax the rich. This is incomprehensibly ignorant. Raising taxes on the wealthy will cause prices of goods and services to rise. Mostly the poor and middle class will be harmed. We are allowing them to continue the separation of the rich and poor. The middle class will be right behind the poor and they will finally have their socialist empire in place, but for a few easily repealed laws.

I hope it is good for you.

Alot of people are curious about her and her husbands net worth. It popped right up. Wth California she is in the top ten richest Congressmen. I don't care I like success. But to give speeches to poor people deriding the rich is beyond hypocrisy.

This number below is years old haha. Whistles.

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, the San Francisco democrat is the ninth wealthiest member of Congress and has a colossal net worth of $196,299,990. To quote Pelosi during a recent speech about economic inequality: "Something is wrong with this picture."Dec 29, 2011

Nothing but more and more Identity Politics

    White Christians are evil

    Black Lives Matter

    Rich are bad people

    Poor people deserve help

I am a woman and mother of 5 so I have room to speak

The Democratic Party isn't even TRYING to talk about issues anymore, they are doing the most obvious job of Divide and Conquer since Caesar in Gaul
